What are the best looking helmets?

I find myself disappointed with the selection of armour in Reach. There are only a few helmets that I even like.

My faves are ODST, Commando, Mark VI, and Recon. Those look the best by far in my opinion.

Which ones do you think are the best?

My favorite is the one I use. GUNGNIR. I also find the “lunchbox” label very entertaining.

TOTALLY GUNGNIR!! Still on my journey to it as I am only Colonel Grade 1, but will be wearing it with pride.

I dunno. They are all okay. Except for MP. I’m just not a fan of that one very much.

Me too, for some reason all of the other helmets are okay, but MP just pisses me off for some reason.

Again I like Mark VI and EVA. Why the hell did they put out Rogue Helmet from Halo 3?

I like to the call the gungnir set-up the yoshi helmet because for some reason…it reminds me of yoshi…

I like the PILOT with gold visor but when I feel like being classical, I use either Mk. V or VI with gold visor with their respective first attachments.

The Mk.V and Mk.V (B) are my favourites. The Pilot with platting is also very liked. As long as it isn’t bareheaded. I call it the Picard when it doesn’t have the armour upgrade.

Bike helmet shopping took forever when I got my first bike. I too found the selection was wanting… until I found what I liked, nah, loved.

With something so personal, I think it’s hard to have a selection that is varied and all equally well liked.

I like the pilot and eva…c helmet. I also use Mark v and recon.

nuff said but if you add black visor it turns from the best to the worst! if you didnt do it just imagine it… eeeeesh!!!

Mark VI alone

Operator w/ either

Security w/ Either

Military Police w/ Second Attachment

Fish Bowling it up ehh there BS, is soft fish with ya?

LOL I switch between a few diff ones, generally speaking EVA gives me the impression of being a huge target.

The blue visor fishbowl is missing a goldfish, do you think that 343 could remedy that in the TU Angel?

I think I’d prefer an eel over a goldfish. Well, that or a shark.

And people always teased me in H3 about being a walking target, but I didn’t feel an impact on the battlefield or see a difference in my stats. Could be because I tend to die a lot regardless, but whatever.

People said the same thing about the Security (Marathon) helmet. But it would seem to have the opposite effect. I was almost convinced that the helmet scared bullets away.

I shouldn’t even call it Security after it was changed to in Reach. They raised my hopes and dashed them quite brilliantly. During the beta (and even now on the background for the Firefight lobby I believe) there was the artwork of the 4 Spartans in a Firefight setting, the 3 helmets you can see is an EOD Spartan with a shotgun (on the left), Carter’s command version (center), and clearly what looks like the Marathon helmet with the sniper (right, link of it). If you can’t tell the Halo 3 Security helmet design was my favorite, and I hope 343 can do something in Halo 4 to get it back in the game.

For you see, I want to go back to looking like a terror of the battlefield that fit my playstyle.
