That is subjective to an individuals preference. To me the best game modes for fun in Halo5 are BTB super fiesta, heroic warzone firefight,and warzone turbo (when available). For ranked play it’s FFA because that shows how good you are not how good your team is.

For Halo 5, I like Team Arena. I’m casual, and not great, but something about 4v4 in Halo 5… Just love it.

It’s weird, b/c I’m a BTB player in general, zero desire to be ‘pro’… But BTB just feels bad in Halo 5. Not trying to hate, I just don’t enjoy it as much as previous Halo games. I absolutely adored BTB in H4. Best in Halo history, IMO, by a long shot. However, the 4v4 (or 5v5) in H4 was not good at all.

I’m not a fan of 4v4 in general, but everything you just said here is exactly how I feel too. BTB was my favorite thing since I started playing Halo games, up until Halo 5. I think it’s because of the smaller map sizes and lack of powerful weapons and vehicles in Halo 5’s BTB. It felt too much like normal slayer for my tastes. Big Team Super Fiesta remedied that to some extent, but I’m really hoping for a Heavies variant in the possible upcoming BTB refresh.

Personally? Arena or Slayer. I always loved Halos 4v4. I was super big into BTB up until Halo 5 but I’m not going to reiterate what’s been said already about it

I’m enamored of BTB Fiesta.

Double team is the best it takes the most skill. Head to head woukd be good if they’d add it to Halo 5. I’m waiting on the doubles refresh to start playing again

personally my favorites are BTBSF, swat, infection, and mythic shotty snipers when it’s available

I play mostly Team Arena and I really dig CTF. Classic game of getting into the enemy team’s base and taking their objective while defending your own. On the right map Oddball is a lot of fun, too.

I dont have a favourite. I play a ton of WZ, enjoy the odd WZFF.
play a lot of fiesta and liked the BT Fiesta.
occassionally enjoy FFA if it’s not too big a stomp fest
I only play swat to get a rank, really
I cant do the BTB - dont know the maps
I can’t do team arena - I dont like objective play apart from slayer.
