Nope. Spartan points are only for unlocking loadout options (weapons, AA’s, support/tactical packages, etc.). Armor, and I assume other stuff like stances are unlocked automatically when you reach the required rank.

So you don’t unlock weapons right away? you have to buy them using spartan points?

You rank up one lvl and get the BR and DMR as a choice. It will take about an hour to have decent weapons comparable to everyone else.

Yes, but every match will have a default set of loadouts in case you want to use a weapon you haven’t unlocked yet. You can also pick up any weapon off the map at any time, just like it’s always been.

Not true, there are no weapons on the maps any more other than Global & Personal Ordnance.
Okay, so let me get this straight every time you level up you earn 1 spartan point and as you level up you unlock new weapons but you have to buy these weapons with the spartan points you have collected over time rather than unlocking them as soon as you reach the required rank for that weapon.
