What are some good machinimas?

I’ve been struggling to find a good machinima. I’ve seen RVB and some others, but what are some other good comedy-action machinima series?

Rise of the Spartans.
Sooo good. I jumped into it after the first couple episodes I believe. Very high production value, great storytelling (for the most part…can get a little confusing with the multiple plot threads), great dramatic and emotional impact, some humor as well. But be mindful…several episodes are the length of the average Hollywood film. They’re worth it!

They’re on the serious side.

On the comedic side there’s Recruits by LostHoboFilmz. Its kinda like a cross between RvB and a tournament anime, at least at the start. It gets a bit more serious as it goes on but it doesn’t loose the humor.
Plus, its into season 4 now, so you dont have to worry about running out of episodes to watch.

you want a good machinima you are going to need to watch Rise of the Spartans, best machinima ever made. Such an amazing character development and story for a fan made series, honestly it could’ve been made into a spinoff game

I recently came across some good ones. Try:

  • The Running Dead - Spy-1 Both of these were created by a guy named KnightmareFilmz on YouTube, and are pretty well developed series.

if you are looking for good old hilarious Halo machinima I recommend any JonCJG series, spriggs, Phil, Playtime, Team Ephifany, Sanity not included did some Halo machinima shorts that were cool too. One thing Im having a hard time finding is funny series (just cant get into rise of the Spartans or any drama and having a hard time finding writers and directors that really take me back to the heyday of machinima (3-Reach, kinda died in 4 in some sense and became harder in production with Halo 5 due to lack of split screen)

I thought there would be more replies about Red VS. Blue. That is a very comedic series.

Rise actually had something to do with that, when it got so damn popular every machinima director out there (well, lower ones) wanted to make serious machinima.
Odd Men Out by Chronicler177 is pretty funny though. It does have serious parts but its more of a comedy series. Like if someone combined RvB and Team Fortress 2.

Complicated, a bit frustrating, and sometimes straight-up rage inducing (especially some of the body acting sessions)
But overall? It was fun.

I have been trying to find the time and people willing to make a machinima but I just can’t figure it out.
