What are some changes you'd make to Halo: Reach?

We got a TU, in one playlist.

Sword block still happens and so does fail AL grenade deflection still happens.

No true ranking system.

OP grenade spamming

Crappy matchmaking maps

new gametypes need to be added to already existing gametypes (Shotty Snipes, shotgun assault, classic CTF, etc)

What changes can you think of to fix cruddy Reach?

  1. First and foremost. We need the regular 1 - 50 ranking system back. This is not Call of Duty. We don’t want or have the time to play the game every day all day for a year to achieve the same thing a noob can. We want REAL rank.

  2. Death intermission needs to display deaths and kills, not just kills. What matters is not kills but our K/D ratio. If your teammate is in 1st with 12 kills but he’s died 18 times is he a good player? Then why not show deaths and imply he is?

  3. Some of the maps are okay - like the “Ascension” remake. The others I agree suck, and so did the H3 maps. Whichever people collabed on the H2 maps should come back to make new maps. I feel like I could make better maps than what’s been released.

Agreed with what you said OP.

Did you stick before or after AL. You don’t get a sticky kill if they are already in AL. At least that’s how I’ve noticed it.

none other than the tweaks to AL and invis (minus the get stuck = still die in AL) that they have in the TU

Agree with all of these points and the order of priority too. This is EXACTLY what is needed. Reach needs a good ranking system in more than one playlist, similar to Halo 3 and their range of ranked gametypes. The only exception is maybe have a percentile next to those 50s so that they still get the single benefit taht Onyx players get of knowing their percentile. FFA, Objective, SWAT, Snipers, Doubles etc. are at least needed in addition to Team Slayer.

The maps are terribe. There are no inspiring ones beyond Asylum, as the rest are all fine for campaign and for CQC, but horrible for anything else. The Pit, Valhalla, Guardian were great maps, and so too were a lot of the Halo 2 maps.
