RP means REQ POINTS. You want to use these if you want to buy gold packs quicker. I get 8,000 RP per warzone assault win with the legendary boost on

They make it to where you get extra req points at the end of the match you used the boost on

Does RP boost give u a set amount of rp after the game is over or does it say boost the amount of rp you get by 20%? If it is the latter which game types usually give the most amount of rp?
