What Are Kig Yar Pirates?

  • What do they do? - Where are they mainly Located? - Can 1 Kig Yar Pirate fleet Consist of All 3 SubSpecies (T’voan, Rhuutian and Ibie’shan) - What Weapons do they have? - What Vehicles and ships do they use? - Do They Fight other Pirate groups?Please answer all of them, thx!

  • Being pirates, I assume they would raid settlements and other ships - Again, being pirates, I assume they would be scattered throughout colonized space, mostly concentrated around their home planet. - Possibly. - Maybe captured Covenant weapons, among more traditional weapons of their own design, making another assumption. - Most likely captured ships, old Covenant ships, really just whatever they can get their hands on. The Kig-Yar have their own types of ships, so those would likely be fairly common. - Probably.

Yeah the subspecies can work together. For example, in Halo: Escalation (Tanaka’s arc), you can see the Ruuhtian and Ibie’shan races fight together against human colonists.

In the Ealen IV arc, all three races are also present among Vata Gajat’s mercenaries.

In the Kilo-Five trilogy, I think there are also T’vaoan pirates.
