What are Halo-fans called?

I saw some old threads, but I’m not sure if we have collectively made a decision yet, so I’m just wondering, if there was one?

If not, does anyone else think it’d be fitting for it to be ‘Reclaimers’? :slight_smile: Speaking within Halo Lore, we’re humans, and we’re Reclaimers anyways. :stuck_out_tongue: Open to suggestion though…

But that is only if there is no term for us yet… and if there is, what is it? :slight_smile:

I think most people just go with “Halo fans.” A few people may use something like “Reclaimer” but I’m fairly sure most just go with “Halo fan” because that says it all.

You know, you raise an interesting point, OP. Normally I’d agree with snickerdoodle, but I feel like being a little creative as to what I’m called because of the fanbase I associate myself with.

I guess I’d call myself a Spartan.

Yeah, I call myself a Halo Fan too, but I thought since a lot of things are being creative with fanbases, I’d love for Halo to get one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m perfectly fine with Halo Fan, but I’m really into the lore itself in Halo and the Halo Universe, and I just thought calling ourselves something lore-related would be pretty cool. “Halo Spartans” or “Halo Reclaimers” or just the prefixes by themselves would be pretty cool in my opinion. I just think it’d sound epic to call yourself a [Halo] Reclaimer or, as suggested above, a [Halo] Spartan haha :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess it’s just me, but I was just wondering what others think :3

Are you thinking something like “Justine Beeber”(don’t really care about the name or the guy) and his Beliebers?

IDK Halonaughts, Halogens, Knights of 343, Haloguys, Halo Rangers, or just members of the 343rd?

Well everybody I know outside refers to us as Halo fans. I refer to us Halo fans as Halo fans, the Halo community, soldiers, Warriors, and Spartans.

Warrior is used if you are a Halo fan with bad internet I think.

Well you can start making a list and presenting it to the halo community to narrow it down to say the top 10. Then once that’s done you can present it again and to 343i so they can probably chose which one we should go by. (I am just a bill… no really that’s the process I’m humming in my head).

IDK Halons? Halonau(gh)ts? Tryhards? Elites? Blarg Aliens? The Master Race?

“Spartans” makes the most sense to me. Its the phrase that i expect to be used anyway: E.g. “Get ready for E3 2014 Spartans, because Halo Xbox One is coming” etc etc. And i can be pretty sure that it has been used/said before.

I usually refer to the Halo fans as the Halo community. But if I had to give us a name Haloverse.
