What are death x's?

What are they?

x’s of mates on your team that died

When you die the service tag that your teammates see above your head (like “M2” for example) whenever you are alive and running around is replaced with an X to show that you just died right there.

Nice trolling.

If your serious then read above, they’re important because you know that there is most likely a weakened opponent around there, and there also useful for tactical awareness. If I died with the sniper I would say “Sniper on my X” to ensure a teammate picked it up.

Not trolling actually, I haven’t been on these forums for very long, so I’m not down with all the lingo yet. Thanks for the info guys! Now time to let this thread die under a pile of complaint threads.

These guys are correct, but in Halo 4, you don’t get the Red X where the blue arrow above the players head was, it only shows up on your radar as a yellow X.
