I noticed from Halo Infinite, aliens and whatnot are stored in flat boxes called Cylixes. I think they’re just copy of Carbonite lol. But I found one with a Flood nugget on it, along with ones with grunts, brutes, elites, endless etc. does that mean that the Flood aren’t stored in a facility anymore?

Cylixes are basically people-USB devices.

Cylixes are what the Forerunner used to preserve the different species before they activated the halos, in order to repoblate the galaxy again after

Repositories that hold an organism and whatever else you put in them within a suspended state of being. Where they are conscious all throughout their dormant state, but their body doesn’t age and their mind doesn’t go mad.
Great for meditating, especially when it came to The Didact’s Cryptum… however The Didact and The Harbinger are stubborn and didn’t change their minds.
In Halo Legends, you see the Cylixes being used to repopulate the galaxy once the Halos fired.
I never knew that! I thought Cylixes were made up but now it makes sense.
