The Menu music!
16minutes of looped music that mostly sounds the same!
I thought it was great at first but after about a month of playing I had heard it about 50 times and was sick of it
I haven’t played halo 5 in over a year but just thismorning I heard the menu music in some video and had flashbacks to spending hours trying and failing to find games.
Its true that back then, one year ago the game was in a much worse state
and the worst thing wasn’t the lack of content or the campaign but the inability to find games due to where I live, and those region locked dedicated servers they had
so I spent atleast half my time on the game trying to get into games and that 16 minute (mostly same sounding) song has been burnt into my brain and now is a representation of a awful time.
You know how a sound or a smell can remind you of stuff from your past, yeah halo 5s menu music reminds me of a hugly disappointing gane
Its because Halo 5s track (while impressive) is oversaturated with strings.
Heavy Aim
Music is pretty low on my annoyed list.
I actually never even paid attention to the music…
everything about halo 5 annoys me except for the content and forge\custom games.
H5 actually has a good music menu, best one since h3 where I’d just sit at the menu listening to it. I still get on YouTube just to listen to it. sigh I miss when halo used to have good music.
What annoys me the most in Halo 5 is Spartan Charge. The music to me I find okay but inconsistent at some points.
