Okay, so I am really stressing out about this. I recently got hit by Sandy and she was brutal on my area. We were (me) out of power for about 2 days. Some of us aren’t back up yet. Its approximately 4 days until Halo 4 launches at midnight and my local Gamestop, where I reserved Halo 4, is out of power at the moment. I have never missed a midnight launch of Halo and I certainly won’t miss this one. I don’t know if the Gamestop’s power is going to come back up and I am freaking out. Can you get your pre-order from another Gamestop? If not, should I just wait it out?

Given the carnage the storm has left, i doubt a midnight launch for a video game will be high up the priority list tbh!!
Try calling one in your area that has power and ask if they will honor your preorder from another store.

I will see if I can do this on Sunday if they still don’t have power.
They can call another GameStop and switch your pre-order to another store.
I think the first thing you should do is be thankful for your life. Apologies for coming off condescending, but that’s the truth. As to the problem at hand, the question I have is did they receive their stock already, and if so, is it now underwater? And if they haven’t received it, will they? With so much destruction, shipping product into the area is going to be very difficult. Either way, hope it works out for you.

Jersey got hit hard. I live in Bucks and we didn’t lose anyone, thank God. But, they already received their Halo 4 copies already. I think they did when the LE went out of stock. I am only relying on the Power right now.

Yeah it did. Im in Jersey and lost power for 2 days. At first it wasn’t supposed to be back on until at least the 5th, but thank God it came back on earlier.
OP you can probably get from another store like everyone else has said.
