What always boggled my mind...

Why do developers stray far away from the core elements from the game expecting both new-comers and veterans to be amazed by it? And by developers I mean 343i and by game I mean Halo 4.

This mess started with Reach and will continue through Halo 6. Better get use to it. Bungie opened the door.

Yep.

343 could of just Shut it, really it wasn’t like anything was in the way of course.

-Yoink!- holding door open

The game is about campaign: Why would new players care about a campaign they can’t understand unless they played the original games? If you’ve never played the originals or read the books you are going to be completely lost with this game’s story.

The game is about multiplayer: Why would they care about this games multiplayer when other shooters like CoD and Tribes are the same but do it better, and are also more familiar?

I really don’t see the changes bringing in anyone new. All they’ve really accomplished is alienating many old players.

Reach players still stick around because it’s not that much different from Reach.

Bungie didn’t open any doors. Reach was a spin-off. Halo 4 should of been based around Halo CE-3. if 343i was smart they would’ve realized that.
