What about the Hologram update?

I was wondering about the Hologram. I don’t understand why this was not mentioned.

The Hologram is easily exploited. For example, in team sniper, Red uses a Hologram on his side so he could fool Blue. Blue saw the Hologram first then he saw the twin. Immediately, he noticed a red name indicator and the crosshair turned red. He fired on the real one ignoring the decoy.

Yeah, whenever the decoy is used, it will not have the name. It makes it near worthless other a petty distraction. The real one will always have the name. My opinion to improve this is either remove the name from the Hologram user or add the name to the Hologram. The crosshair also helps you to make the decision better. This will make it more deceiving.

Another example, Blue uses Hologram and it shows up green on the radar. Red looked at the red dot in the radar and was fooled by it. He fired on it but Blue immediately sprang on him to kill.
So, Blue used this method again but this time it didn’t work. Why? Red saw a white dot and immediately knew what it was and he bounced a grenade to where the decoy first came a alive. Yes, Red beat Blue this time.

The rader makes it easy to exploit the Hologram. I rather have it as red or green dots. No more whites. The red, green, and white dots for Hologram varies in playlist.

Addtional words: Crouching Hologram could make it better too. You always see the decoy running and standing, never crouching. The decoy should crouch when you are crouching. It would be better if it had less weaknesses. I hope you can make this change.

I agree. Maybe holigrams should move AROUND a little instead of straight forward, to make them slighty more convincing.

Holograms were never intended to be like this, it was always intended to be a distraction for someone under pressure, if you see it’s not working out for you, then the players you are against know what there doing.

Do you immediately act when you use your hologram? It doesn’t take very long for someone to realize that it’s a hologram and continue to try to kill you.

I agree. The keyword is pressure.

I have never had a problem with the hologram. If I am play Team No0bter when I am bored it actually does it’s job and is not annoying as AL and camo were. It’s fine.

Well I haven’t used it in team snipers or big team battles (well at least I don’t really have any memory of it) I did however use it in Team Slayer earlier today, I’d say there is nothing wrong with it, it might lack name tags and shadows but it still gave me two assassinations and several normal kills in just one game, it also gave my team-mates a few extra kills too, just about every time I used it in a battle or sent it in to an area before I entered it succeeded in fooling the enemy.
