Hi so I don’t know where to start I don’t really post on here much so uh…for those of you that haven’t played Halo Wars 2 for what ever reason SPOILERS anyway the one major thing that is missing in Halo Infinite is the Flood, so far they haven’t been shown, or talked about in Infinite in anyway shape or form, Last we seen them was on the Ark at the end of Awakening The Nightmare DLC, They were held at bay for the moment it seemed however if you know anything about the Flood you know they are not so easily defeated as it would seem the firing of Installation 4-B was kinda useless and now they are out in the wild now… thank you Banished so like if any of the developers read this what’s going on with the Flood it’s that kind of threat you can’t ignore even with everything currently going on in the universe.
Im pretty sure the flood will come back because, thanks to HiddenXperia with his lore, Mendicant Bias and the Precursor were on Zeta Halo, the ring in Infinite. The Flood should come back.
I’d hope the flood to return, and I believe it might be true.
I am still hoping that the Flood will come back in the upcoming Halo Infinite.

I’m hoping they are just keeping their return a secret until we play the game and end up with a similar situation when we first encountered the flood on Halo: CE. They definitely need to bring them back or at least mention them in Halo Infinite. Fingers crossed.
Having the Flood in Infinite would be awesome!
What if they are Infinite but 343 is gonna do a Bungie and not tell us until we get to that ONE MISSION.

I don’t think Halo Infinite campaign will be anything new

I don’t think they’ll be in the main campaign, but I think they’ll return in DLC

Making the Flood a DLC doesn’t do them justice. It’s worked with Halo Wars 2 however it won’t work in a FPS I feel.
I hope if they do show up it’s a surprise. When I played CE for the first time the Flood came outta nowhere. If they return I don’t wanna see it in the trailers first.
I mean, given the seasonal structure of the game I’d be surprised if the Flood are completely absent. Maybe this first “season” will be more focused on the Banished, then it will go on to focus on each enemy ‘race’ per season?
I think it’s just a matter of time before the flood return, but my main concern is that they could end up becoming just another enemy, and in turn loose what made them special, and pretty horrifying if we’re honest with ourselves. If the flood return then I hope they are treated correctly and with respect. The flood need to stay scary, and that’s a fact!
