What about specific game searches?

It probably hasn’t been thought of, but what if you could search for a specific game you want to play in MM? Let’s say you want to play on team slayer like usual, but you only want to play on wraparound with any gametype, or you want to only play br slayer on any map. What if you clicked on team slayer then another option page comes up asking your preferences to search for, that way you could play your favorite gametype or favorite map as many times you want. Of course you could set preferences to any.

…or 343i could just develop a custom games browser.

I’ve thought about this. Players could set their search preferences which would affect matching and voting options.

but you wouldn’t rank up with customs

I play to enjoy myself, not to rank up.

I really don’t see how a custom game browser can function properly. I see many threads to have it, but it would probably be the laggiest thing to implement with constant quitting and host migrations. gotta think about the small things like that.

BFBC2 had this option and i wish I could do it in Halo and COD. There are some maps that make me want to cry - Sword Base, Pinnacle, Dome, Hardhat - the ability to filter them out would make me

Full 16/16-player Custom Games usually work fine on their own. Basically all a browser would do is help you find (open/public) custom games by categorizing and listing them.

You can also do this in Battlefield 3. It might work for Halo…not really sure.

It would be a nice addition and would prevent many from quitting games 24/7, then again it’s not really necessary as long as the maps and gameplay are good (cwhatIdidthere?)
I doubt we’ll see something like this in Halo 4, maybe Halo 5, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up, getting random games on random maps with random teammates is the Halo experience, add a few random host migrations and you’re set :stuck_out_tongue:
