spoiler alert for Halo 4 and 5.
So in the middle of Halo 4s campaign, Chief ran into the Librarian and was pushed forward in his evolution so that he could not be digitized by the composer. That is an incredibly cool feature that just didn’t show up in Halo 5 and it’s more useful than surviving one blast. My question is, do you think it’ll come back into play when the didact comes back in a future game or will it somehow play into him stopping Cortana? Also it leads to an interesting plot because if they plan to continue using Locke and he’s not immune to this, it could cause issues so I’m excited to see how this plays out.

The question is not “when” the Didact comes back, it’s “if”. At least, that’s my personal opinion. Halo 5 would have been so much better if it had used elements of “The Last 72 Hours” (the MC fighting the Didact on a Halo, and officially reunited with Blue Team), instead of pulling this Cortana/Created/Guardians plot out of thin air. Or, even if they had kept the plot that’s there now, it would have been better if Cortana wasn’t real and was just a deception by the Didact by lure the Master Chief into a trap. Granted, I never played Halo 5, but I’ve read lots of walkthroughs, reviews, and have watched videos, so I do know H5’s story.
I also am not sure what to expect, Peanutmut… With how many things from H4 that was completely dropped in H5, I find theory-crafting to be completely pointless, now. Who know what 343i will change or drop or add in H6?
The Didact was killed outside of H4/H5. Maybe with all of this AI stuff coming up, somehow they can work Chief’s evolution into the story line (doubt it). Would love if they answered his question, “planning for what?”
i think it will i also think that the Didact is corrupting Cortana
