Halo fans.
Who want to play Halo.
And are not playing Halo because Halo is a buggy, broken mess?
We’ve already discussed that people did come back for Season 2. It just sucked and wasn’t enough.

They like the series?
Idk. I just know good products get good reception.
Basically, the higher the quality, the more fans you’re likely to acquire.
The “coming out of the gate” part along with everything else people said about why infinite is better Halo game than 5.
You say luck of the draw, majority of the community says pay to win.
You say evolution of the Halo formula, majority of the community says deviations from the Halo formula.
Halo 5 had Mythic Arena, the best playlist to come out of 343 ever ![]()
Spartan abilities is not a proper evolution of the Halo formula because it doesn’t add to the sandbox, it only adds to the player’s default abilities.
A good example of a proper evolution is equipment in Halo 3. It’s a limited pickup that you have to fight for which is the entire basis around Halo’s multiplayer.
In that same regard spartan abilities in Halo Reach was a poor attempt at trying to evolve the formula.
Halo at it’s core is a sandbox shooter, any addition that works against the sandbox is inherently bad.
Most thats a broad statement like what? All guns in 4v4; I think your statement is embellished for the sake of argument. Besides the number of weapons available most of these weapons were fun to use and had utility.
-Magnum, AR, BR, DMR, LR, Needler, Plasma Pistol, Carbine, SMG, Beam rifle, Binary rifle, Energy sword, Fuel rod, Hydra, Incineration canon, Plasma caster, Rail gun, Rocket launcher, Saw, Shotgun, Storm rifle, Suppressor, S7 sniper.
Hierarchy exists in all Halo’s especially around starting weapons. Power weapons are no different; they are fun powerful weapons that equate to easy kills and again H:I is no different.
I’ll give you the module armor point it was a smart move to do what reach did and I prefer it but it doesn’t matter if all the pieces are slight variations of the core set and lack in quantity.
Within months of release.*
Halo Infinite didn’t get content within months of release?
The monthly load was certainly larger, but Halo 5 ended support 2 years after its initial update.
I think a comparison two years in and 10 years later are due for a proper comparison
Biases that are 100.00000% blinded by nostalgia for Bungie. A very strong reason as to why I hate 99% of this community.
I think Infinite’s campaign is the best campaign we’ve gotten since H3. Zeta Halo did a great job of executing CE’s feeling of mystery. Huge shortcomings in the biome diversity and epic encounters department though.
As far as the MP suite goes, I think the only thing H5 has going for it over Infinite is volume. I like most of Infinite’s mechanics more than H5, even though I did really enjoy H5’s MP design. If Infinite had everything H5 does, I think Infinite would blow H5 out of the water.
I am very happy we’re getting dev made BTB maps again
Why halo 5 is better.
Don’t have to purchase armour.
Don’t have to purchase colours.
Dont have to purchase emblems.
Have the freedom to have primary and secondary colours.
Game was fully developed when released.
DMR was still in the game.
Commando didn’t exist.
Firefight (was later added as an extra to a full game)
XP was earned by the player individual skill and not based on challenges that make you play game types you dont want to play.
COOP mode.
Play as a diffrent spartan COOP mode instead of a chief clone.
Sniper rifle had more ammo.
Warzone.
AI enemy integrated into multiplayer.
The game is actually team based.
Buying the game actually gave you full access.
Multiple variants and diffrent attatchments of primary weapons.
100.00000%
Why the extra zeros?
blinded by nostalgia for Bungie
Oh no. My eyes, they are blinded by the best rated Halo Games.
A very strong reason as to why I hate 99% of this community.
Like I said,1 or two weirdos online that consider Halo 5 to be a Halo game. OP is #1 this guy #2. Now these two will pump them selves up and pretend that the majority of the community is the problem because we don’t agree with their subjective and unpopular opinions. Cute.
What’s a Bungie nostalgia bias? How about an example?
@Freak_A_Fan asking questions is bait now? Seems more like you’re engaging in targeted harassment from your trend as of late.
Exactly. The “halo 5 isn’t a halo game” are the worst kind of debaters.

Sorry for not being a master debater like you.
The “Earth is not flat” are the worst kind of debaters.
Same energy
Halo 5 had hundreds of customization options and dozens of sandbox elements day one and added even more over the course of two years.
Halo Infinite, nearly a year later, still doesn’t have quantifiably the same as Halo 5 did at launch.
Halo 5 had hundreds of customization options
How does this make a game good or bad. And lets be honest, most of those armor pieces were copy/pastes where one and a line going / the other had a line going \ and a third where the line was -
dozens of sandbox elements day one and added even more over the course of two years.
Weapon Varity and vehicle verity was better, but admittedly a lot of the weapon variants were largely redundant.
Pretty much this, even Halo 5 was barebones at launch
Halo 5 had hundreds of customization options and dozens of sandbox elements day one and added even more over the course of two years.
As for customization options, are we talking all day one numbers for both? Because somewhere within the first few months of Infinite launching, the total number of quantifiable customization variations blew past Halo 5’s total final update customization variations by a significant margin.
Sandbox elements I agree.
Don’t have to purchase armour.
Don’t have to purchase colours.
Dont have to purchase emblems.
What do you mean by “have to purchase.” Does the game stop working if you don’t buy an item from the shop or are you just being dramatic?
