so this halo wars happens after halo 5 with the spirit of fire but anyone who read halo: escalation knows that in the lats issue there was an infection form on the spirit of fire which was floating to an ominous planet
Apparently one of the anthology projects, Fractures and Tales from Slipspace, will deal with that and the SoF image in Escalation is not in the present time of Halo 5 according to Brian Reed in the commentary of the Library Edition of Halo: Escalation.
