What a waste of amazing art

SMH

BR is 5sk in the build that’s going to be released on November 6th. What a waste of amazing art. why even bring the gun back? with Custom Classes, no one’s going to use it if they care about their K/D or doing good or helping their team.

5sk BR needs its own name now. I’m not calling it the BR. I’m calling it the 5sk BR, or something else, because it’s not truly a BR. IMO

Final Thoughts?

Post this in the 30 other threads complaining about it, that’s a thought.

That seems fine to me if the br took less shots to kill everyone would use it.

> That seems fine to me if the br took less shots to kill everyone would use it.

But since it kills slower than all the other guns, nobody will use it.

SMH. “It’s not a BR because it takes 5 shots to kill someone”. The Waypoint forums never cease to amaze me…

Just use another gun instead of the BR instead.

The PAX gameplay showed it to be pretty effective, and god forbid people give it a chance before criticizing it.

Do you know that actual kill times for each weapon. I have a feeling that the BR may still be quicker if they’ve balanced it correctly. Then 5sk doesn’t matter.

It still kills fine it takes less accuracy and skill to use than a DMR, Light rifle and carbine because it’s harder to line up the head shots and are slower the BR is faster

You mean that the BR is useless besides the fact that, despite being 5sk, it is slightly more accurate when scoped in (only slightly, but don’y quote me on that), and seems to shoot with a faster ROF. You also have to take into account that it balances with the DMR and Carbine with DMR having 14 shots per clip and Carbine having decreased ROF and possibly decreased clip size aswell. Yeah, the BR is really useless.=/

why do we find the stupidest things to complain about…i mean, if your a true fan, you would be happy to see some of the changes that are coming, like me

Please don’t use the term “true fan”.

Here’s an idea. Why don’t you try playing the game first?

Since I’m assuming a lot of you haven’t played Halo 4.
I’ll give you my experience with the gun.

While the Battle Rifle may be the slowest of the 4 guns (DMR, Carbine, Light Rifle, BR)
It was much easier to use at a short to mid range.

When I originally went into my first game into Pax, I went in thinking that the BR was the worst gun to possibly choose.
I made my loadout with a DMR, Pistol, UNSC Grenades, PV, Fire Power, and I forget the last.
While I could hold my own, the DMR was hard to control in the ranges I was given, but I kept using it. The more I used it the more I kept getting out shot by the BR.

As soon as I picked up the BR, I quickly caught up to the leaders. I thought maybe I just wasn’t use to the game, but playing the game 4 times throughout the 3 days I was at Pax I never could use the other 3 weapons in Short ranges. They are just hard to manage.

So before you quickly throw the weapon to the side. I implore you to at least try the gun out before you pass judgement.

I sorta agree with this. I can see where these guys are coming from, but the overabundance of pessimistic threads is becoming annoying and tiresome.

SMH more. It’s not a Mangum because it takes more than 3 shots to kill someone. see where I’m getting at?

They’re both BR’s, but one is THE BR, and the other one is a lesser BR.

Hmmm… maybe, just maybe, though it sounds weird, and every gameplay video I’ve seen with 5sk BR makes it look like trash, but maybe it’s actually good. Doubt it, but from the sounds of it, I need to play it first.

Watch Hysteria dominate that match. He beats Walshy.

In skilled hands, the BR will be very strong. The same can be said for all precision weapons. I see the Carbine and DMR being weapons people will use the most, and, as they get better, try the Light Rifle and BR.

He used the BR exclusively throughout the entire game and won, and you question it’s effectiveness? This video did the opposite for me, it showed the BR to be a good all-around reliable weapon.

Assuming you’re a Halo vet like myself who’s been playing Halo since 01 at the age from 11 and up; I think he’s part of the new age Halo Fans, the ones who were babies when Halo 1 came out and didn’t become skilled online gamers til Halo 3. I use this scale because my little brother is part of that generation of kids that were only like 4 or 5 when Halo 1 came out and they never know what the F they’re talking about when it comes to games. There’s a lot of these kids here.

ill still destroy you with it
