Nothing more frustrating than sitting down for some fun with HW2 and losing every single game hard. Little depressing to get repeatedly rushed by flamers, hogs, and snipers when you just feel like going a dumb mass infantry attempt in team war xD
On an actual serious note, does anyone else think that UNSC feels a lot stronger than they were before the balance patch? I usually don’t have this much trouble dealing with early aggression but I gotta admit I felt my shippy was a bit outclassed even in the games I attempted to play seriously. Forge Hog ruined one of my games single handedly because I just couldn’t catch the damn thing long enough to kill it as it guns down my honor guard and marauders.
Forge is way to op really there isn’t much you can do which is a shame
Yeah he’s pretty busted. There was maybe one time I coulda killed him if I teleported on top of him as he ran away again when I first revealed my marauders, but of course my ally had flamers and marines all over his base so I was needing to get there instead. Stupid forge hog kept hitting and running with his aoe attack and I couldn’t even kill off the infantry because of it forge didn’t even bother making units, I rage quit for the night after that one xD
For real though that hero unit is way overloaded. He shouldn’t be faster than honor guard with speed upgrade imo

Lesson 1… don’t chase the Hog. Surround it then kill it.
The Hog by itself is not OP.
The Aura buff he puts off makes him OP.
Forge is OP as a leader because Hogs are good and grizzlies and the leader gives them all a defensive Aura buff that goes on top of Heavy Metal.
The hog only needs his Aura most likely taken away.
i wouod get rid of his Aura. And Reverse the Grizzly recent buff.
Then Forge will be fine.

eh. the hog alone was able to do decent damage to all my marauders. I could have surrounded him, but I needed to get to my ally before it was too late. I don’t think any leader is OP on their own, now, but Forge seems to have just about everything you would want in a leader. I think making him slower would bring him more in line with other leaders. He’s a little too fast imo.
Now that defensive aura and heavy metal combo however is a different story haha
