Today was an exceptionally good day for me playing Halo. After I first saw what the buzz was about in Flood I turned to BTIS to start finishing off my Combat Opportunity commendation. As is common for me, Ragnarok was picked (I voted Meltdown) and the game started up. Normally I go with my BR/AR loadout but today I decided to use my Carbine loadout.
Boy am I glad I did.
Either it was the fact that today is St. Paddy’s day, or I’m getting better at shooting (I’m opting for the latter) but I performed way better than I normally do with the Carbine. I was able to take out three DMR users in a row with it, which is a best for me. We lost both games on Ragnarok (both in a row) but at least the second one was close. Fast forward a couple games of SWAT and more BTIS where I’m on Longbow (I danced at this). Held my own again against more DMR users, and I finally got my first kill with the PP.

The match finished with a victory for my team. Fast forward one more time a couple games to the cap of my good day.
Exile, Red Team.
Now normally I’d be upset at this combination since I hate Exile, but I usually suck it up and play it. I first helped a teammate get the Scorpion, and then I went back towards the Gauss heading to our base. I jumped in our chain hog and drove it right towards theirs. The gunner took his first shot at me, and his second one right when I was in front of him. Their hog had some damage, so I was surprised when we both blew up. Got a double kill out of it so I’ll take it. Later on during the match after my detached turret rampage (which only got me 3 kills I think?) I respawned right next to the newly-spawned tank. I hopped in and decided to try my luck with it. After completely whiffing my first three shots at Blue’s Gauss, I was able to go on a nice 12 kill streak with a killtrocity thrown in there (whichever one is 6 kills in a row) before I blew up. Easily the best spree I’ve had on Exile in the tank.
Overall I had a good day today. I think my Exile Tank Spree is in my file share if I uploaded it correctly if anybody wants to see it. I could give credit that it is St. Paddy’s day, but I’d rather think i’m getting better at Multiplayer, hahaha!
