Ok, so since CEA is bringing back old maps, 343 should look for remakes created by the communities for the other maps. They choose the best ones, those maps are put into matchmaking.
Yes or no?

lol, People really want to see more seas of gray.
No.
Forge world creation should only appear in a " Community maps " playlists.
If I want to play Team Slayer why are all the maps 60 - 70% FW ones?

i hope he means replace maps like asylum and reflection with maps like santuary by xXoverkillVR and ivory tower, also made by him.
If you mean “replace a lot of the ‘flawed’ Bungie maps, with better maps created by the community and then some”, then yes.
For those saying that there should be more dev maps than community maps, my retort is that we should continue to use community maps until the dev maps exceed the community maps in gameplay quality (and possibly make some of the map packs required).

This. Zealot and Countdown are the only good maps on disk, while none of the DLC is required. Though the CEA map pack looks fantastic.
The should give out the Reach DLC for free if you buy CE, because it would be nice to play the maps I payed for in more than 2 playlists. They should also remaster FireFight maps to be playable in MM.
They need to do something because almost everyone I know has no interest in HaloCE and they where all at one time huge Halo fans.

Zealot=Good
Arena Zealot=people Circle.
I mean they even advertized the the space part as being one of the things that could change a game around and then just block it off in most game types. How rediculous is that? Swat is understandable, but not the other gametypes.

Actually if you buy CEA it comes with a code for the classic map DLC, as long as it is a new copy though.
I personally would like to see some of the BTB maps from Halo 3 back in Reach. I’ve seen a couple of amazing Valhalla remakes (thats not a “sea of gray” map either since the original had the same color scheme as FW) and a few good Sandtrap remakes as well. Guardian was also an awesome map and would also look ok since that map has similar colors to FW as well, although I havent seen any good Guardian remakes yet.
Others to consider: Snowbound, Rats Nest, Terminal (I loved this map in H2), Turf, and Avalanche (No idea how you would make this one in FW though)

Regular Zealot is terrible.
Did you not remember how people would sit outside of the map and kill you if you chased them? Even in other gametypes? You’re exposed in the air and are floating down slowly. The zero g area was awful all across the board.

Asthetics /=/ Gameplay.

QFT. Sure the gray is ugly but i would rather have better gameplay than amazing looking maps.

Zero G is a really bad gimmick. So many maps would have been better without.
As long as they don’t put in that midship remake.
Oh lord, it made me realise how important visuals cues are to maneuvering around, even if I played the map many times before.

This. Sorry, but when it comes to forge, bungie don’t know pants about aesthetics.
Every single default map in reach sucks to an extent so I’m all for removing them all in place of community maps. At least those are fairly interesting, bungie’s maps on the other hand piss me off.
