They were using assets from H2A.

Hahaha dont’t take it seriously man, 343i just recycled the Halo 2 Anniversary’s cinematics to make that trailer, that’s why you are seeing a Plasma Rifle* instead of a Storm Rifle

Yeah also they used the H2A BR in the prologue and epilogue because Blur recycled the assets to make the trailer look more familiar. Also if you notice, they also used the H2A Sangheli because they had the assets for them, even though its confirmed that the H4 Elites are in H5. My only question is, why make the Arbiter look like the H2A Arbiter, his anatomy, not his armor, instead of making his anatomy more like an H4 elite in Halo 5?
