They never said themselves that they will be at the toy fair, but we will see something today. Maybe in the bulletin.
Also we had tons of hints from CEA, a warthog from Forza 4, etc.

For the Bulletin I can picture 343 posting the Troll face, and having the you’ve been trolled song in the back ground. For the Halo 4 info.
If you actually paid attention, you would know two key things and this, this thread would be non-existent.

343i never said anything about the toy fair. Re:creation said they would be showing die cast models based on the Halo series, one of which would be a Halo 4 warthog. That’s it.

I did say in the ‘3 words’ thread: worse than Valve. 
Although I’m not entirely sure Valve itself has been doing much trolling, except for that stuff in Counter-Strike: GO. Otherwise, it’s as Laidlaw said, the community trolling itself. XD

Your thread implies that 343i or another official source tricked is. It suggests that someone, in a position of some knowledge or authority suggested we would see something. That hasn’t happened.

It could be worse. Valve could be making Halo 4. Which means it would have tons of delays, and every time someone makes a fat joke it gets delayed again. With 343 at least we know the game is going to be released soon.
The London Toy Fair’s official Twitter said that the Halo stuff is on show a couple of hours ago. I imagine the pictures will surface around the net in the next few hours.

So let me get this straight, Spike announced that Halo 4 was going to be at the VGA… I don’t remember reading or hearing any thing stating that Halo 4 will be at the VGAs, other than that screwed up speculation a few people pulled because they saw a small image from the Halo 4 announcement trailer in the VGA ad. Which isn’t Spike announcing that there will be a Halo 4 Trailer, but if any thing is showing that Halo 4 might be awarded something if it won. So in reality the only ones who tricked you was:
#1 YOU for believing all of that speculation and rumors.
#2 The people who connected the imaginary dots and speculated that there was going to be a Halo 4 trailer.
343i didn’t Trick you, Spike didn’t Trick you, unless you’re one of those people who need a sign posted before every over pass that says “Hill blocks view”.
Don’t read into rumors. Why? Because things all ways end badly, and you end up getting pissed at people who aren’t at fault, and start looking like the -Yoink- hole.

Wow, that’s sad, when things don’t happen, the first thing that happens is people blame the developers, even tho 343i said they wasn’t going to show Halo 4 at VGAs, and a few people at spike said there wasn’t going to be Halo 4 at VGAs.

in all fairness, why would they put pictures of halo 4 in the VGA commercials…that seems like trickery to me. And it did to a lot of people.
when mcdonalds puts a commercial on tv they don’t have hotdogs in it. if they did people would expect them to start selling hot dogs…

Spike tv wasn’t selling anything. However Halo4 was nominated for most anticipated game. Therefore putting the trailer in makes sense.

how is it suposed to make game of the year if the dam thing dosnt even have a pixle of gameplay

To be honest, that’s not true, some compenies do stick things in their adds that they don’t sell, McDonalds does it, it may not be hot dogs, but they do stick things in their ads that they don’t sell, most times it’s to more of “Hey why are you eating that when you can have a nice ‘big’ McDonald’s sandwhich!?”

He didn’t say game of the year, he said that Halo 4 was nominated for most anticipated game, two different categories don’t get them confused, and it can be nominated for most anticipated game because even tho we haven’t seen any game play, we’ve seen concept art, the Halo 4 warthog, Halo 4 Spartan Armor, the announcement trailer, and 2 novels hinting to the story line for Halo 4, that’s enough grounds for a game to be nominated for most anticipated game.
The VGA’s wasn’t a trick, 343 never said that there was going to be a trailer.
