Why do you still show up as a red blob when using stealth in conjunction with active camouflage? Seems kind of detrimental to assassins…
if you mean on the radar, its because its a motion sensor and cloak doesn’t hide that (obviously). but other then that you shouldn’t show up as red to cross-hairs and i think even to prometian vision
Stealth hides you from Promethean Vision so long as you are behind a wall (and has you show up as blue as opposed to Red/Green if you are in line-of-sight), nullifies the sounds of walking, running, and jumping, and increases (air) assassination speeds. It says all assassinations, but it seems like it only affects air assassinations, or doesn’t affect most assassinations enough to be noticeable.
I meant in Promethean vision (sorry for not clarifying) while invisible with the stealth perk active you show up red instead of with the blue outline.
If you’re watching the Killcams it shows that, but others have tested it in Custom Games with friends, and you don’t show up at all. I’ve also ambushed people who activated Promethean Vision while walking directly towards, say, a hallway I’m in, and yet miss me in the alcove and keep walking, allowing me to assassinate them. If I showed up at all on Promethean Vision, they would have certainly seen me.
Just curious, does the stealth mod effect how the hologram appears on PV?
Can’t wait to get the Perk for it… I play swat pretty often so stealth will really boost my advantage for sneaking up on people.
EDIT - Wait… does this even work for SWAT? I just remembered you don’t get to pick your own loadout… so i’m guessing not… well this just got less enjoyable…
perks are supposed to be ballanced for the current playlists. I don’t know why you’d be surprised.
All assassinations are affected, however the time decrease is only 1 second. Still, that second has made the complete difference of getting away or getting killed for me plenty of times.
