wetwork armor mod

what does the armor mod do?

Thank me later.

It’s basically the ninja perk from CoD. (pretty sure it’s the one anyway)

No footstep noise and you can’t be seen through walls with PV.

You can be seen actually its just the outline of your spartan though.

That’s the claimed effect.

Testing it against someone who actually has it unlocked, you cannot see them at all unless they are in line of sight and when they are in your line of sight they have a light blue/green outline.

Is the no footstep thing even necessary? I feel it useless. I could be wrong tho.It maybe useful in spartan ops when u wanna come up behind enemies and stuff

Still an outline though correct? and it wouldnt make much sense if you could see people beside or behind you so of course it would be LoS.

You really do, run and move quite silently. Through a tv anyways, havent tried it with headphones on.

It quite literally makes PV useless which is why when I unlock it I will have a class just for it so Adrift might actually become fun to play.

Footsteps are significantly louder in Halo 4 than any previous Halo game.

Well I guess it wouldn’t matter to me anyway. I can’t stay away from Dexterity to use the stealth mod. Same goes for any tactical package that replaces mobility. Looks like ill just be unlocking all the specialization mods for nothing really. I’ll just stick to the armor i get unlock from each specialization and weapon skins.

well here is my question, are they really going to follow through with the whole give out the free code thing if you play before 11/20/12? IMO that would suck for the people who got special edition but be bad -Yoink- for me because I didn’t.

I like halo and all but honestly the new maps mean more to me than the fancy armor, and I don’t have tons of money to be throwing around to get maps and armor for the game.

There is no “code” to access the other specializations.

And by the 20th, people who have the limited edition could have easily hit level 80-90 thanks to the extra specs AND they didn’t have to chose between only 2 specs to start off with (I started with Pioneer)

They should, be clear though. 343i will start emailing them out on 12:01 11/20//12, since the deadline midnight EST.
It can take up to ten days for codes to be sent. Also, you must be a SR50.

Not quoting your other post but even if it is old news (yes i seen the date on the thing 10/15/12) I’ve apparently missed i somewhere. Then again I haven’t until here recently bothered getting on the forums to much or anything like that.

As for the must be SR50 thing is that you must be that by 11:59pm 11/19/12 or is that just SR50 to use them because if its the first, this might suck because i did get the game a week after it come out and do have a job so dont play as much (not saying getting to 50 still isn’t possible, just priorities). Also if it is the first i guess its hardcore double xp today after work. If its the second, I kinda assumed that seeing how I have to be SR50 before i can change.
