I just finished Contact Harvest and it vividly describes(correct me if I’m wrong) Brutes,Grunts,and Hunters but no Eltes… Were there no Eltes involved in the Invasion of Harvest at all or are they just not mentioned???
“Contact Harvest” doesn’t detail the Battle of Harvest, it details first contact with the Covenant in February of 2525. The First Battle of Harvest wouldn’t begin until months later in October of 2525, when a small battlegroup (3 ships) is sent to investigate the reports of alien aggressors. One ship, badly damaged, escapes after receiving a message from the Covenant.
In March of 2526, Admiral Cole would arrive with a huge fleet, and would begin the 5 year Second Battle of Harvest. Again, none of this takes place in the Contact Harvest. But yes, there were Elites at the First and Second Battles of Harvest, but not during first contact.
The initial attack was by a Brute controlled ship, no elites. There were Elites in the ensuing campaign for Harvest.
