I’ve always been curious if 343 studio had the same amount of staff available to work on Halo 5 as Bungie had for previous Halo’s. Let’s say Bungie had a 1,000 people working on Halo 3, Reach etc… and 343 only had 500 people working on Halo 5. You’re bound to see differences in the game just because of resources available. If the staff was the same, maybe the code was new for Halo 5 compared to other Halos. Always been curious on the differences with the business side of things and development.
I’d say look through the credits and count how many people are in the same departments between Halo 3 and Halo 5. Won’t be an exact answer but should give you an idea.

Not the easiest way to find out, but a good idea.

I’m not talking about counting everyone because that’s ridiculous lmao, just look at how many people are listed under some key categories like Writing Team or Multiplayer Designers.
343 has more of everything Bungie had during their time with Halo. They have more funding, resources, staff, technology, literally anything you can think of that a studio would need to make a proper game, 343 has a lot more of.
Just watch any vidoc of Bungie’s or 343’s. Bungie’s all take place in small locations and their studio while 343 shows off all the state of the art recording studios they use and all the fancy tech and other high-end facilities.
And yet, unfortunately, 343’s games are still laughably sub-par and are failing to live up to the legacy left behind by b5ungie and their classic Halos.
