I see too much bickering on these forums between “Competitive” gamers and “Casual” gamers. Trust me I know. I was banned many times in the past for such bickering.
Arguments are good, it helps with furthering good ideas and it helps with compromising. The problem is less and less of this bickering is actual arguments, and more and more of it is flame-baiting. May I ask how this is supposed to help 343i?
If we’re on these forums, that means we’re fans of Halo. On these forums we assign each other titles like competitive or casual, but in game we are all just fans. We come together, so that we may destroy one another in a friendly match of Halo.
So far the community is split regarding Mutliplayer. Many people want a return to Halo’s roots, the extreme of those people want another Halo 2/3 clone. Many people want Halo to modernize, the extreme of those people wanting Halo to become more similar to other games on the market.
In the middle of those two is a comfortable balance. We as a community need to realize that our ideas need to come together for Halo 5 to be an enjoyable game. After all, we all agree that we’re fans of Halo, what else can we agree with? What do you think is a healthy compromise for Halo’s multiplayer?
What I think would be a good starting point would be to figure out what worked and what didn’t, and how we could improve them and build off of that.

restricted load-outs and only 3 spawn AAs (rest are map) the spawn AAs are : Thruster, holo and hard-light.

While that is a good idea, I think it’d be best if we all just see where everyone stands on the whole “broken mechanics” part, firstly. After that, we could suggest our own improvements.

True, I just don’t want to go back to bungie’s one gun game…(You know the one, UNSC rifle or get out…)

But you do agree that AA’s and Loadouts should be tweaked, correct?

I feel it should be BR/CC starts with weps on map with said AAs to choose from. (TP,HS and HOLO)
So yes I do think they need to change but stay.
