Halo 5 just isn’t that fun. They want us to sweat, but there’s no reason to sweat besides a ridiculous ranking system that resets every month (I truly don’t understand why they won’t go back to what made ranked Halo unique and use a numbered ranking system). Besides the lack of ranks, the content in the game is mediocre and lacking. The map selection is atrocious and unless you love straight up 4v4 slayer on compact maps, you’re out of luck for game modes. I can’t even describe what they did to BTB, once one of the most fun parts of Halo is now a pile of garbage. I honestly didn’t even like the campaign very much, definitely nowhere near as good/emotional/capturing as Halo 4 in my opinion. I don’t know if it’s deadlines, simply not enough time or maybe they don’t care (I doubt that). The damage here is done sadly, but I just really want to see Halo 6 take Halo back to what it is, one of the greatest gaming franchises ever. I still believe in 343 & Halo.
play warzone…sure u lose at times but atleast u do have a decent, if not good time when u win, which is really quite a lot.
Best part is that u dont have ranks or much of a competitive gameplay…and u can goof around a bit
Again, there is no functional difference between being ranked in CSR and some arbitrary numbers. Also, a numbered ranking system is NOT a unique innovation at all.

I played MCC last night for 3 hours and the biggest issue I experienced was the horrible UI.
I agree that it’s incredibly broken, but it’s still playable and way more fun, especially when friends come and I can use guests, their own accounts, etc. in addition to mine. Halo 5 isn’t fun because there is no social aspect to it…it’s single player and promotes high level competition everywhere.
Bring back 1-50 ranks… with an exp rank as well.
I played some action sack and H2 last night in MCC. MCC can be fun when it works.
i still go back often since a couple of my friends dont have h5 yet…also, playing the older games is fun and i still got a ton of campaign achievements to unlock too…working on legendary completions atm

BTB doesn’t have a single real map, thats a problem.
if you dislike the MCC ui then for sure halo 5’s UI is the worst -Yoink- ever made in the history of any halo ever created. atleast in the mcc we have permanent playlist ( most of them dont work but atleast they are there) and we can see who we are up against not some -Yoink- emblem. also there is veto!!! and it has halo3 the best halo ever so…

The BTB maps are awful, almost none can coherently utilize vehicles as the path ways for vehicle combat are too narrow and cramped, I ignore all vehicles on BTB maps; which is definitely…a problem

Yeah BTB used to have focus on big maps and vehicles… and what do we have now? tiny maps and maybe if we are lucky 1 gungoose,1 ghost and 1 warthog per team.
Now compare that to the older halo’s where we had 1 banshee,1 scorpion tank,1 gauss hog,1 wraith,1 warthog,2 mongoose and 1 ghost each…
It’s the sweats that make the game boring for me

there is barely any vehicles in BTB maps yes there are some in some maps but still feels like there trying to rid of vehicles

Er… so unless I like 4v4 Slayer on compact maps I’m out of luck? What if I like 4v4 CTF? Or 4v4 Assault? Or FFA? Or Breakout? Or 8v8 BTB? Or Grifball? Or Swat? Or 12v12 on huge maps? Honestly you’re talking absolute nonsense. While I agree that the game needs more play lists
