The figure coming out of the Promethean Soul was cool, I didn’t even catch it at first.
Palmer has pretty eyes.
Too soon?
> The figure coming out of the Promethean Soul was cool, I didn’t even catch it at first.
I hadn’t noticed it until I saw a comment on youtube about it. Looked like a woman to me.
I noticed that not all of Palmer is bad…wait that’s not appropriate for here =D

I’m surprised that Lasky wasn’t blinded in seconds after looking at the sun from that close up

Or Infinity damaged/destroyed by the heat. Dude when your THAT close, nothing should be able to survive. I would think that kind of heat would take the shields down in a hurry, not to mention Crimson and Covies on the ground in the last mission, whuueeehhhh, HOT HOT.
XD y’all are right… wow I feel stupid for not thinking about that, Unless… things aren’t so bright in the halo universe…

I’m personally still amazed that the UNSC Spirit of Fire was able to loop around that Shield World’s sun like it did.

The Infinity had advanced shielding technology, likely allowing it to survive. In the case of the Spirit of Fire, I’d say it survived because the artificial sun was so small. Also, awesome sci-fi scenes.
On topic: The only thing I saw was the Human figure in the Promethean soul. It was cool, for sure, but has been mentioned already.
Which episode?

It’s an artificial light source, closer but not as bright.

It’s an artificial light source, closer but not as bright or hot.

Maybe it was because they were in some sort of protective forerunner atmosphere yet?

Well,
Requiem wasn’t affected by the extreme heat of Epoloch Prime (system star) until it was completely submerged. Take a look at the surface of the artificial planet as it enters the star. It doesn’t show any signs of heating up, nor deforming under the temperature/pressure.
Then again, look up at the sky during all of Episode 10, and as the missions progress, the metal covering appears to be getting brighter and hotter. And in Epi10M5, first a chunk of metal falls from the sky to impact with the Harvester (I winced, who else did?) and then during the escape, a hole opens up in the sky to allow the Pelicans their excape instead of defaulting towards one of Requiem’s entry portals. (Possibly blown into Requiem by Infinity to get the Pelicans out of Requiem faster?)
Once again, the SpOps cutscenes have reconciliation problems. First it was the Promethean Knights having extremely low durability (Yeah, take out a Knight with half a single Assault Rifle clip, can’t do that unless you’re playing on Easy), now it’s Requiem’s durability.
Also, Episode 4 was ALL filler. Honestly nothing of importance happened, other than chasing Jul’Mdama around Requiem, finally securing Two Giants/Fortress/The Cauldron/Galileo Base, and getting a box which aside from a minute of exposition, offered nothing of value to the storyline.
I noticed.
I thought Commander Palmer looked pretty awesome in the fight scenes. Makes me wish the multiplayer version of Scout armor looked as cool as Palmer’s does in Campaign and Spartan Ops… and that we could have dual magnums.
They really should bring back dual-wielding as an Armor Ability in Halo 5; I think it would work just fine.

It confirmed that the Didact teleported to Requiem when he fell into the slipspace hole. Unless you’re actually paying attention to detail, you probably won’t notice that otherwise. Which is pretty important/nice to know.

Where? We saw the Didact’s symbol in Episode 10…but given that Requiem was his personal fortress that isn’t a surprise.
I liked the Spartan Ps cutscenes. I try to pay close attention when people get shot.

That “slipspace event building under the Composer”, where the composed humans from New Pheonix went into, which sent them to Requiem, and made them into “Promethean Souls”. This confirmed that the slipspace event sends whatever that enters it to Requiem. And since the Didact fell into it, he was sent to Requiem.
