A Ranking system is in place, but not visible to anyone. Even yourself. Shame, kinda wish I could see MY rank =P still going to be fun btw.

Hopefully they introduce a patch to atleast make it visible to us. That’s all I ask for, something real to work towards. Progression is a pointless grind, but true skill requires you to always improve or risk losing your rank. I understand the reasoning behind it. “No one wants to be told they’re bad.” But deal with it. I was terrible at Halo 3 when I first played. Only got to 38. But that’s what inspired me to keep playing to get better!
I don’t care to see my opponents ranks, just let me view my own so I can track my progress. I also understand that the rank system is there solely to make better matches now. Which is good, but such a waste considering they HAVE the data. They literally have the information we want, and just CHOOSE to not let us see it.
So the rank’s there and helps with matchmaking, but players can’t see it?
