Well, that's not good news for Halo 4

Just saw a Microsoft commercial where Halo 4 has already been dropped to $40. Damn, I knew it was bad, but not that bad. A month after release a $20 price drop, that just doesn’t even seem right. It could only be for Christmas or something, but then I think it would say a Christmas special, but it seems like it’s permanent. Looks like Microsoft realizes they have a failure on their hands, and are already looking at Halo 5 sooner rather than later. Maybe just maybe Halo 5 will be what Halo 4 should of been. Even if it’s just Halo 4.5 with most of the kinks of Halo 4 worked out, I’ll be happy.

Not a permanent price drop. Duh.

They need to listen to the community. There are plenty of resources to get past the drivel and see what the majority would like to see (feature wise) put BACK into the game. They should have never removed so many things that made previous titles stand out.

One little thing thats just obnoxious is the leveling cap.

Also, they need to stop beating around the bush and release Halo: Forge as a standalone product that can be updated separately and let the map community make the amazing custom games we had in 3.

Alas, that will never happen.

Only bottom line thinking.

> Not a permanent price drop. Duh.

With how this game feels and plays with the community that inhabits it, maybe they should keep it permanently low for a while.

A price drop to take advantage of one the most capitalistic holidays in existence? No way! Such a concept should be inconceivable! This is entirely new and shocking!

…Come on now. It should be painfully obvious that price drops is to make video games sell more. Lower price=more attractive to potential buyers as a Christmas present.
