Why is everything so substance-less with whatever 343 does?
I literally felt nothing when that trailer finished.

Did you read any of the books? I loved it, and watch FUD EP 3.
The Chief having a stare down with the “ancient evil” at the end gave me chills down my spine.

The Halo 4 trailer wasn’t what I was expecting, though. I think perhaps I built it up too much in my mind, but it was just a bit… meh.

Agreed, also the Halo 4 reveal trailer was a lot better too.
It just doesn’t make sense either. Master Chief has a helmet face.

Really? I thought it was brilliant. Especially the bits looking back to his augmentations and past with the other spartans.
The combat scene was amazing too.

I liked it a lot. Granted it wasn’t better than the Halo 3 or deliver hope trailers but it was on par with them IMO.
I thought the scan trailer was one of the best Halo trailers.

We got FUD a 90 MINTUE LIVE ACTION series and a trailer! 343 is already FTW before all this! The trailer was great and FUD Ep.3 is AMAZING! So there is nothing to complain about.
Freaking really? You forgot the CE:A trailer. Sure, it’s Combat Evolved, but this trailer is amazing

Its an advertisement. Its supposed to make the game look cool for those who are unsure about what they want to invest in.

you are saying everything they do is substanceless…they are giving you examples of the opposite
Also what part of 343’s plan to focus on John’s humanity seems to be unclear to you?
I’ll admit I thought the Reach - Deliver Hope trailer was better, but that trailer was straight up amazing.
The latest trailer was still enjoyable and very well done.

I thought Scanned was awesome.
Seeing Chief fight in CGI (without a prolonged, stupid energy sword duel) is always badass.
And the augmentation scenes were finally closer to what I imagine of 'em. In “A Spartan is Born,” Carter just kinda beefed up. In this, the Spartans were clearly in pain. It’s supposed to feel like molten glass in your bones.
All in all, I give it a 100 out of 10.

This trailer literally got my blood pumping. Had to watch it over and over like 5 times. lol Btw, if we got a Halo movie; the prometheans would look SIIIIIIICCCKKKK! (Judging from the CGI in the trailer).
