I constantly hear of Halo fans praising Halo’s multiplayer as a game that highly dependent on player skill - one can overcome an opponent even if you don’t land the first shot. I also constantly hear of Halo fans’ disapproval of spartan abilities. However, in my opinion, spartan abilities produce the most creative reversals.
Have you ever thought of a reversal involving a spartan ability as well played? Have you ever found performing a reversal using a perfectly timed thruster satisfying? Or have you been impressed by someone who had performed a reversal on yourself with a surprise ground pound? Please tell us about your most epic reversal(s) that involved using a Spartan ability.
Who’s “us” O.o
Everytime I get ninja’d, I think “how could you fall for that, you fool!”
Edit: oh you meant, like, the medal. Here’s one, I think
Most of my reversals happend out of luck.

Or the other player spots first and then chokes shots
I once reversaled a guy with a Tartarus’s Gavel, didn’t have the time to record it safely though…
Oh yes, absolutely! A quick Clamber/Ground Pound at various points on the maps are an excellent way to do it… people write off the Spartan Abilities as being different/bad for the game, when in reality, it all comes back to everyone being able to use and execute the same maneuvers. The better you utilize them in the proper situations, the more you improve your individual skill at the game.
One of my own, personal favorites is right here… a part of my second H5 montage.
I’m not sure if this qualifies, but I managed to hold off 3 people at once in Snipers and survived afterwards.
