In the new update from B is for Bravo, I am pleased that they at least found a work around so we can see each other’s file share, making it much more possible for the coolest community creations to go viral, find a gamertag and view their file share because of a post, or at least view a friend’s file share even if none of the above are online. Credit where credit is due.
A summary below on how to do this, from the 05/9/205 blog by B is for Bravo:
…
"NEW “FIND PLAYER” SEARCH
<> At the main menu, press “X” to bring up the roster.
<> Next, select yourself by pressing “A” on your Gamertag. (Not the game session)
Once you’ve downloaded the CU, you’ll see “Find Player” under the menu, which will allow you to lookup any player (regardless of whether or not you are Friends with them, or if they are online.)
<> Next up, enter the gamertag of the player you are looking for.
<> You’ll then be directed to the “Player Details” page for this player.
<> Select File Share, and proceed to grab the files you’re looking for.
This will easily allow you to discover and download new favorite maps and game types, and we’ll be on the lookout for these as well as we highlight some favorites. If you have some crafty canvases or wacky custom games you’ve created, or want to share one of your favorites, make sure to post it in the Community Creations section.
As always, we’ll have the full patch notes and details once the CU becomes available."

Bravo, Bravo! So happy to be happy with improved aspects of the MCC.
