Well my friends, I'm done with this game's aiming

Still no official response? I’m returning this game. Black ops 3 looms sick. Kind of depressing.

I have no problem with the aim in the weapons with scopes, but I would like iron sights for guns like the Assault Rifle.

aim is fine :l

I’m slowly getting used to it

The Aiming in Halo 5 is far better than all previous versions. Its actually got me playing the multiplayer.

Adios

> Just played a few games of SWAT and went back to theater to watch the kills I thought were strange. On most of them my reticle was at least two feet away from the enemy player and it seemed impossible to even come close to hitting them. The thing is even though my reticle wasn’t even close to being on the enemy the game counted it as a headshot, this should not be in the game I want a challenge and this takes everything challenging from it. Please stop favoring the noobs to help them out so much that it takes away from the game. Skills should be learned, NOT given out.

You should upload that match to youtube.

"The Halo community (XIM and controller gamers alike) have been talking about Halo 5’s surprise changes to how it aims. XIM’s Smart Translator system gives us an insight into how every game developer designs their aiming systems. I can tell you after studying the data that 343 has done a great disservice to the Halo community.343 changed Halo aim by splitting the stick into 2 separate regions: aim and turn. They also chose this point seeming arbitrarily as well before maximum stick deflection. Meaning, any player that accidentally goes beyond this point (such as during the heat of a fire fight) will find their reticle jump. The speed gap between “aim” and “turn” is very large. Instead of moving towards a good example of an aiming system (i.e. CoD and BF), they went completely the other way.Something as fundamental as aim should be customizable. There is no single solution for everyone (certainly not what they changed here). It is our hope that 343 will realize this mistake and fix their game." - Obsiv

Believe me, add an Aim Acceleration slider to the Settings, let me choose how I WANT TO AIM!!!

That is not the main issue with the halo 5 aim system. Yes, this diagonal aim was a bug and needed to be fixed, However, none of the inconsistencies with aim acceleration were ever considered to be tweaked within this article. Also, the statement that you claim over how people should simply find a new game or to only focus on positive aspects of a game should be advice that NO ONE ever heeds. If you see something wrong with a game, address it in a constructive matter, and don’t be silent and hope that the developers are quick enough to notice the issue on their own. Unfortunately, this isn’t the end of our controversy here.

it aint dat bad

Lol

It’s ok I guess

Still not seeing the problem, personally.

Its the same song and dance every time a new Halo comes out… People find something to complain about then they go off to that years new CoD. Why you ask, because its easy to get kills in that game and any noob can do it… Then after a year or 2 they turn around and say I liked the last halo and CoD is for noobs and scrubs… Why dont you guys save us the crying and just go play CoD already… Then a year from now you can come back and stop crying…

meanwile I keep doing stuff like this to people… GameClips.io - SadisticDeath4U playing Halo 5: Guardians. Watch more Xbox Clips at GameClips.io

In that article this pro Eric guy says “we spent months tweaking the aim because the long range was ‘squirrelly.’” He also says “we are use to it because we have been playing it for 2 years.”… 2years? Wow Eric. He goes on to say they hear our feedback and are more than welcome to change… umm NO the pro team spent months tweaking so no more lol They shouldn’t touch this game again unless they are outside the studio. 343 should just bring back the beta build for aiming and keep it away from the pros hands from now on. The pros can play it at home or when they go to their tournaments.

This is true in campaign too. Multiple head shots all over enemies and they don’t fall. usually takes four blows with a sniper rifle and that seems three to many with a sniper.

It feels “squirrelly” at all ranges now soo… Not sure what he accomplished.
