Your’re just straight crap then. I’ve gotten many fluent kills and if you’re struggling then quit and go to cod with the rest of their community because that game takes barely any effort to get a kill. Dont blame the game, blame your crappy aim lol

Is this seriously why I can’t snap anymore? I never realized that there actually was an aiming issue until now, I always thought I was just really out of practice. That would explain why I can’t four shot as well I used to or get good no scope snipes anymore.

Have you seen the 3rd post where the guy says he doesn’t have a problem with it? It has 7 more “likes” thus the forum community seems divided 51/49 on this, if we apply your reasoning.

That’s still a roughly 50 - 50 split. Pretty damn horrible.

Yes but that is only on the forums. Out of 30 people on my friend list I’m the only one that bothers with game forums. The other guys just log in and play and then go back to their lives. I read forums to discuss but would never take the information provided here as a valid information pool regarding the state or health of a game.
ADS or Hip Fire? Because Hip Fire is the way to go this Halo
Honestly it is what is. They changed the aiming system its not the worst thing in the world. It just takes a little getting used to.
I pretty much can only tell the issue with sniping, all other weapons I seem to have no problem with but sniping at anything other then real long range seems to bring that issue out for me atleast
learn to adapt to the game! The aiming feels the same to me its just at a faster pace. Your one of those people who don’t embrace change. You can be a person to go back and play Backwards Compatibility and play games that you enjoy.

I’ve played every halo game. I didnt have a problem getting used to this one
i been away from halo for a while so i take H5 in as a whole new game so learning the new system has been to bad for me.

For those saying “adapt” or “get used to it”, you are not quite understanding the complaint.
I have adapted just fine to the new aiming mechanics. Nonetheless it remains a highly flawed aiming mechanic that hurts the overall quality of the game. Pointing and shooting is a fundamental core aspect of FPS game play, and Halo 5 introduced an aiming mechanic that makes that basic process both unintuitive and unpredictable. The Halo 5 aiming mechanics has substantial flaws which produce highly unintuitive and inconsistent results. We want a better aiming mechanic that produces an intuitive and consistent input and output relationship.
Imagine if the game randomly flipped your Y axis inversion throughout the game. Yes, you could get used to it and adapt, but it would remain a highly flawed aiming mechanic. Such is the conversation surrounding Halo 5s aiming mechanic.

Did you read the article because it address a bug that some controllers are having with diagonal aiming. It has nothing to do with the broken deadzones and acceleration issues that the people in this thread are agonizing over.
343i needs to read this and please explain to us how the current system makes any sense and isn’t completely broken. Halo 5's Aiming System (UPDATED)
