Well my friends, I'm done with this game's aiming

I agree but I’m not quitting

So now people are complaining because they can’t aim? Seriously, what the hell? Why should 343 constantly adapt to us, why can’t we adapt to them? This is their game, they’re doing a damn good job, but just because it isn’t exactly the way we want it to be, we should all stop playing and what, sue them? Seriously get over yourselves.

I just want this -Yoink!- armour that you are supposed to get for playing it before November 7th

I’m enjoying it more than I did when Halo 4 released. Multiplayer is alot of fun, things seem quite balanced for a week old game. You can find matches easily and maps are easy to learn.

Exactly your supposed to adapt to a game, not let them make it easier, I totally agree with your comment, well said.

The aiming is exactly the reason why i dont play arena… Direct gun fights always end up me over aiming the enemy target with these stupid dead zones and acceleration. Currently im playing only warzone where i can still play tactical to not get into face to face gunfights… But only 3 maps for Warzone the only game type besides competitive arena!!!

> > I keep hoping this is just a bad dream and that I’ll wake up from it, but it’s real. The aiming is garbage. I still have not gotten used to it. It’s just awful. I know I don’t need to go into detail about how bad these aiming mechanics are, because so many other people have expressed what’s wrong, but it’s nothing like any Halo before it. Why change what was NEVER wrong with Halo? Every game in MCC feels amazing, as far as aiming is concerned. Going back and forth between different Halo games on there is effortless and I’m always confident that my shot will be on. This game is just wonky as hell. I can’t even begin to express my disappointment with the aiming mechanics. I really hope they listen to us and make this game feel like EVERY game before it. And not just a little deadzone tweaking or accel tweaking…it needs a 100% revert back to how we all know Halo is supposed to feel. It’s just not a fun game. I gave it a legitimate chance after 23 hours of play, but it’s still bad. There’s just no getting used to the aiming in this game. So much potential…damn…

> How you guys enjoying “Halo 5” Guardians, by the way? Just watching the clips my friends have made, I’m seeing that a lot less was changed from the beta (ostensibly an alpha) than I had been told - no surprise there. I’m not going to go out of the way to restart my Gamefly subscription for this like Halo 4 (solid game that felt like Halo) so I won’t be playing it unless a Redbox machine nearby stocks it, so I’m just curious. How’s the framerate? The visuals actually strike me as worse than either Halo 4 or Halo 3 on the MCC, somewhere around what Halo 2 Anniversary looked like, so I expect that it at least runs smooth enough, being 343i’s primary focus.

> Also, I was surprised to see the T rating. When Dark Souls II was released with a T, I had assumed that it was perhaps the ESRB getting over themselves and coming back down to planet earth, choosing not to put a game like Dark Souls (or Halo) in the same rating category as GTA as that’s complete overkill and it seemed like they just kept handing out an M rating for consistency. Of course when Dark Souls II came out, it came with a severe lack of the blood from the first game and I felt stupid to have hoped the ESRB was just being reasonable…so I don’t want to guess: when you shoot corpses, is there or is there not the feature where blood spews out from them? Kind of disappointing if there isn’t.

Most of the time it is not that simple. They built a new engine for Halo 5 and it was designed to run at 60FPS. Maybe in a new engine designed to run differently, the old aiming mechanic did not respond correctly. There could be a number of reasons for changing the aiming mechanic. But it really is not that bad. Yes it is not as good as the previous Halo games but you can easily adjust to it as I did.

With regards to the graphics. It is definitely better looking than any game in the Master Chief Collection and runs at 60FPS with no frame drops. Halo 2 in the MCC for instance could only run at 60FPS at 1328X1080 resolution and even then it had bad frame rate drops. Halo 5’s new engine will scale resolution intelligently to keep the game running at 60FPS constantly.

It definitely looks great though and I hope you will give it a try! Its an awesome game.

I’m still just happy to be playing halo with my friends. if you want changes, ranting in forums do not solve issues. Players can’t help players fix a game by arguing at each other. Voice opinions in the right direction,

Aiming is really choppy but i found a aiming set up to make it easier

I found this out about the aiming issue. It has to do with some diagonal aiming issues and even some controllers. 343 does know about the deadzone problem and plans to fix it in an update that what it said where I read about this issue.

I don’t have a problem with the aiming but i just came back to the Xbox for this dam game.

I personally enjoy the aiming mechanics, nothing needs changed

I haven’t had any problems with the aiming at all. I haven’t noticed really. I play swat quite a bit and at times i think WTF i thought i shot him in the head?! Then again i figured it was only me complaining about not pulling the trigger fast enough.

Nope no problem here either I love the BR mechanics in this halo

Wow! I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the aiming was different. I keep over shooting, but thanks to hours of gameplay I’m finally getting the hang of it. It’s still a fun game though.

I can’t agree, as far as multi player goes this is the best Halo yet imo, not perfect, but in no way quit worthy.

I felt like this for the first 30± minutes of playing, now I love it! But going back to Cod or Destiny is quite hard

I’m gonna go ahead and say that halo 3 was the best, Imo anyway
