Well my friends, I'm done with this game's aiming

just turn aim assist off. That’s what I need.

The guy has it on 5 sensitivity, so imagine for those on 3 who usually shift the stick all the way to the right to target someone far right.

The general consensus of the forums over this topic equates to this

Doesn’t sound right. Learn how to control the games forced aim mechanic, don’t learn how to control your own aim.

Instead, we’d just like an enable disable option. We don’t want forced aim acceleration. That’s like forcing people to play inverted and saying “git gud” lol. Exaggerated, but similar right? It’s a preference, just like sensitivity is. People don’t pick 3 to get a feeling of 10 when reaching the 80 percent stick movement point, and people on 10 making small adjustments don’t expect a slowed smoothing effect on their aim as it speeds up slowly till 10 feeling laggy as aim gradually accelerates.

For some, nice, awesome, the aim feels wonderful for you. Nothing feels wrong. You’re the targeted audience of this new aiming feel. We don’t want your game to feel any different, we’d just like an option for 1:1 ratio feeling on our stick without acceleration and no DZ issues for those experiencing that. I love this game, the aim feels inconsistent, but I love the game still. It’s a great new halo just starting out.

I think it’s quite good, but it is imperitive that you get a feel for it and choose the control scheme best suited to your instincts on the controller.

Yeah, obsiously its way more hard than the previous halo games but its make the game challenging and I love it

Really though, even if you weren’t completely full of -Yoink- about your stats, why would you -Yoink- about aiming when you’re clearly so good at it?

I gave it a legitimate chance after 23 hours of play, but it’s still bad. There’s just no getting used to the aiming in this game. So much potential…damn…

Hell. Even Halo 4’s aiming was/is ALOT better than Halo 5’s aiming.

I agree it’s definitely different, but I’m getting used to it. It feels great on the magnum and carbine. I miss more shots when I’m using my AR haha.

I don’t understand the issue with the aiming? I’ve had a lot of success with this game and not understanding why players can’t adapt. I have gotten A LOT more head shots and been way more accurate with this type. Just give it some practice and stop whining over it.

why are not the 6 maps of warzone? Only are three

I don’t mind the aiming, seems pretty normal to me.

It was hard to adapt to, but once you get use to it, it is great! Playing through the campaign on legendary really helped me to adapt quickly

Eh Destiny and Halo are two seperate companies now…Bungie has no influence on the Aim mechanics anymore, clearly…And Aim Assist/Aim Acceleration is always on, Aim Assist is there, it just does not move the Reticle, just the bullets, theirs a video on youtube explaining it. Sort of a hit box type of deal , no longer your silihoute

It feels more like CoD’s or Destiny’s aim system in a way yet still has it’s own touches. I like it but the old Halo’s aim system would be cool to see return sometime.
