Well my friends, I'm done with this game's aiming

> I’m one of those 10+ years players and I agree I hope they fix it. If halo fans wanted change we’d go play a different game. Why change Halo to be similar to other games? Let it be its own thing.

personally, I love a good challange. I’ve been playing halo since day 1, and i feel that the aiming needs to compensate for the frantic speed increase. I don’t think 343 needs to lower difficulties in any way- or change the hit boxes for that matter- but a slight- very slight- aim assist would help, especially with the loose xb1 thumb sticks. and no- i’m not going to fix that issue by buying an xb1 elite remote.

The aiming is alright, since it is a new game it will have its bugs but every game ha those. They might fix it to were it’s better but why quit a game if you don’t like only one thing about it. Pacence is key. Why not try to get use to and people have played for a long time it’ll take a little longer but all games have patches were they fix this kind of stuff

If you want to play “EVERY OTHER GAME” then, go do that. Games change, deal with it.

Haha this made me laugh! Because apparently you don’t think “controller and setting issues” is important. LOL

I think the weapon mechanics in this game feel great; they somewhat redeem the game for me. Your shot really has to be on point to compete at a high skill level.

What kills me are Spartan Abilities as they present so much chaos, randomness, and unfair advantages/disadvantages. They allow players with poor shooting skills to get by with cheap kills. As any kill can be a critical turning point in a match, the potential for kills to be gained/lost because of simple button presses/combos greatly diminishes competitive legitimacy.

whats wrong with the aiming ? its a lil harder with vehicles i admit but you get used to it pretty fast imo, as for landing headshots that’s entirely with you tbh, i land them just fine after some practise matches to get the feelz

They have dedicated servers for classic halo mechanics.

I guess everyone missed the part where it was confirmed by the developer that some controllers are buggy and don’t work well with Halo, while other controllers work just fine.

Hence the get good comments are ignorant. It’s hard to get good when your controller isn’t performing how the developer wanted it to perform.

I know I don’t need to go into detail about how bad these aiming mechanics are, because so many other people have expressed what’s wrong, but it’s nothing like any Halo before it. Why change what was NEVER wrong with Halo? Every game in MCC feels amazing, as far as aiming is concerned. Going back and forth between different Halo games on there is effortless and I’m always confident that my shot will be on. This game is just wonky as hell. I can’t even begin to express my disappointment with the aiming mechanics. I really hope they listen to us and make this game feel like EVERY game before it. And not just a little deadzone tweaking or accel tweaking…it needs a 100% revert back to how we all know Halo is supposed to feel. It’s just not a fun game. I gave it a legitimate chance after 23 hours of play, but it’s still bad. There’s just no getting used to the aiming in this game. So much potential…damn…

They already know and are trying to fix it, but people need to stop saying this game is -Yoink- because of controller glitches. Everyone I’ve talked to hasn’t said anything about a problem with aiming, people just like to complain on the forums when every game isn’t exactly like Halo 2. They don’t know how to adjust to a new game and cling to the past.

Maybe you should read a few posts outside your circle of friends. That should give you an idea how many people there are who have issues with the aiming. And it has nothing to do with setting up controller settings my friend. Do you really think the thousands of people on here would be complaining because they didn’t notice they could turn their sensitivity up or down more?

You suck that’s all it is. everyone else is completely fine and used to it by now. took me maybe three days and now I think it has better aim mechanics than any other game. you just need to find you sensitivity and stick with it for 20 games. build muscle memory. your making a big deal out of it when you could stop wasting your time and play and get better. there is no way your brain cant adjust you just want them to -Yoink- up something that is perfectly fine if not exceptional.

Took me 5-6 matches to adjust to this halo after not playing any Halo since Reach in 2011.

I’ve yet to have aiming problems, and when I miss…It’s MY Fault.

This is more of a reddit/online issue than it is a real life issue. Yea it happens a bit here and there to some people but it’s not as abundant as it’s being reported it is.

Same with most of the complaints for Halo 5, and all other games.

There are real life in game problems, and then what is reported online.

The amount of negative comments online far outweighs the reality of said issue…any issue…for anything.

This game is god awful dont let anyone tell you different.
Who is the idiot that decided to put in all this “fast paced” maneuverability and then decided but oh wait why dont we completely screw you on aiming!!
Jim,“Hey fellers what if we make people move reallly fast but make controller stick aim movement inconsistent and bad?”
Bob,“OMG YES you figured it out boy and oh lets not put team doubles in as a playlist because nobody has asked for it.”

I agree, it just feels a little off.

I agree 100 percent. They need to fix the deadzone or give us an option for it. And they need to take that aim acceleration OFF. They are ruining Halo multiplayer.

what blazed Dragon said.

“You talking about change and adapting to it” ok, whetever way you’re playing invert/regular, let make a change to the oposite of what you play. I challenge you not to QQ, and adapt yourself to in.

I don’t like acceleration in my aiming, just make it an option
I don’t like my vertical/horizontal speed to be all messed up, just make it an option.

Fixed it for you.

I am getting used to it, it’s not that bad once you learn the new gameplay.

so no one here can get 4/5 shots consistently without it feeling like a fluke? For me it happens a lot and feels consistent, just harder.
Also, who are all these other players that I’m having intense duels with if the aiming is so bad that no one can get kills consistently? Further more, why when I watch pro streams are they miraculously aiming perfectly fine most of the time if the aiming is as -Yoink- as everyone in this thread is saying it is?
Something just isn’t adding up. All I can think is that this forum’s opinion isn’t representative of the opinion of the player base at large.

I don’t have a problem with it.
