Well my friends, I'm done with this game's aiming

I don’t understand what you mean.
I’ve been with halo since 3 and have got all of the since and it feels the same except for the obvious smart scope.

.

At least fix it so that it doesn’t pop you out every time you get hit

Y’all need to fight it out!!!

Go to war zone and find each other. I wanna watch

I don’t have any problems with my aiming…
Yeah it seems a little stiff but its easy to get used to for me.

I have not noticed a problem with the aiming. Its a game mechanic get used to it. It doesnt make the game not playable or as bad as youre making it sound. Not every game can be the exact same, get over it. They have to change things, if you dont want much change then go play csgo.

You know with pretty much every FPS or even 3rd person for that matter, the games aim and turn sensitivity is different so one has to adjust.
I know this because it doesn’t matter whether I’m playing Halo, CoD , BF, MoH, Crysis, my K/D is always 0.5-0.6.
To me it just shows its not the games aiming mechanic’s I just can’t aim for that Brown stuff (can’t say the word in the forums, it just says -Yonk-).
That doesn’t mean I enjoy the game any less. So just suck it up and play the fracking game.

I agree that they should give people the option to change it, but I honestly don’t have any problem with the aiming. I’ve got better aim in this game than I had in the other Halos.

ok some of you are misinterpreting this. this has nothing to do with auto aim or aim assist. its aim acceleration mixed with dead spots. meaning your sensitivity could be set to 5 and you will have 5 sensitivity for a portion of your thumbstick movement and then suddenly have 10 sensitivity for the rest. this drasrically messes with consistant aiming. the beta was perfectly fine.

18 pages of idiots not realizing that its a controller issue.

well said I find the aiming to be fine, to many people complain if they know so much about how to make a FPS better why aren’t they making there own game??

I dont mind it at all i still kick a**

Agree. Aiming is garbage but I’m not a quitter

Long-time Halo player here (since CE). Played the beta, then MCC quite often leading up to the release. Maybe I’m in the minority here (or silent majority?), but H5 feels like the easiest and smoothest aiming to me, personally. When I’m not handing the controller over to my -Yoink- friend to mess with my K/D (-Yoink!- no split-screen), I’m finding it much easier to get kills and land head-shots. Not discrediting the vast body of research being done on this issue, just giving my two cents.

Also, if you have an issue with something, be solution-finding. Be patient. Quitting for good does the game, franchise, and community no favors. 343 listens to its fans and employs pros at their office, but even they make mistakes (campaign, for starters). Halo doesn’t become the biggest FPS again without a united community of fans.

from not having any sort of aim in halo to having an aim control why do people seem to dislike everything? we have a major feature we never had before enjoy it learn to adapt that’s what the best players do

No it’s not. Even with delay turned off, update and/or using a controller without the 3.5mm jack, it’s still poses as a problem. Take your flamming elsewhere.

But besides how you unlock armor and the aiming the game plays very well.

The entire problem here is people are using the controller with the 3.5 mm jack and its causing dead zone issues, they think its a mechanic in the game that is causing it, but its been recognized by Microsoft and 343i and its being worked on.

Kids these days just love to come to forums and complain.

I agree with you though, this game is by far the smoothest and fastest game in the series. Requires precise aim to be successful.

My issue with the acceleration are that it’s inconsistent. There are matches where I feel like I’m fighting the sticks and others where it seems smooth as butter. Maybe it’s just me.
