We'll make our own DLC playlist!

So as 343 is yet to provide us with a DLC playlist we’ll make our own, with Blackjack and Hookers!

More seriously, we all know that the DLC maps rarely come up outside of their respective playlists. However, if DLC owners were to swarm a playlist for a day there’s a fair chance that a few good DLC games will be had.

So I was looking here and by my reckoning Infinity Slayer, SWAT and Capture the Flag are the only playlists to feature maps from all 4 map packs. Infinity Slayer and SWAT each have 7 DLC maps while CTF has 9, with the only two maps missing in CTF being Shatter and Vertigo. Seeing as Vertigo is easily available in the Champions Bundle playlist realistically the only DLC map missing is Shatter. Also CTF has the smallest population of the three, meaning matching with other DLC players is more likely.

Anyway, the plan would be to get as many DLC owning players as possible into CTF at the same time to try and get some DLC matches. If it’s successful maybe it could be made into a weekly event. I was thinking starting from 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10 pm GMT on a Saturday until everyone gets bored, although I can’t think of any obvious way of advertising it apart from on this forum.

So, does this sound like a feasible idea or ambitious but rubbish?

No, but yeah I totally agree, that’s a great idea. I usually play CTF as my main playlist anyways because I hate Infinity settings with a burning passion.

Anyone who has the DLC and wants to play CTF can send me a friend request.

This is a fantastic idea! I bought the season pass and to this dative never played on a crimson map once! Hopefully when GOTY edition comes out they’ll make an official dlc playlist… Like Halo 3 did! :smiley:

I’d like an official DLC playlist, but I doubt one will be made seeing as the Reach one had such a low population :frowning:

With the majority of the low population saying there should be DLC playlists, there definitely should be. No matter how low Reach had.
