Now that 343i finally removed region lock in Australia arena and war zone have been a lag fest. The only positive to it is that I can finally play FFA but FFA with lots of lag and because of that I am unable to show my true skills. It also becomes extremely frustrating especially when your versing onyxs and diamonds one shot makes a huge different. Because of the lag I can perfect someone but if they perfect me first my perfect won’t count or I shoot 7 times he shoots six (let’s say we miss one shot each) and yet this person would still win the gunfight. Let’s not forget about people teleporting around and just generally effecting your aim badly. 343i needs to find a solution to this soon like server selection otherwise the already small population will be gone forever.

region lock restricts you from connected to other regions eg. Other countries. It means you wont have as many people to find games but it wont be laggy. If 343 improves their servers and adds server selection you should be able to fund a game lag free.

Lag? What are you talking about? I’ve been playing a few games of Warzone and BTB over the last few days and it seems fine to me. If you want to experience what lag feels like, go play Halo 3 on yellow bar.
So either no games at all with lock. Or laggy without.
Not sure of the two would bother me less…
I play in usa. I had laggy and crash issues for almost 2 months. But been cleared up for coupke months now. But never had the no games to join problem here

I think I remember versing you 
because of the small population the onyxs I do get to play I normally remember. I’m actually pretty happy with my ffa result getting rank diamond considering I lag a lot. Other than the preseason I’ve been onyx for team arena every season and now because of the lag I got ranked only diamond 4 and I doubt ill be able to rank up when I’m just lagging out of matches.
