It’s in beta, the playlists are most likely generalized and lumped together for stability and testing purposes.
We’ll get separate playlists just be patient.

Honestly, we will get traditional style playlists. We just have to be patient as halo infinite is gonna be a ten year live service game. So I have hopes that we will get traditional playlists eventually.

Damn alot of people are so impatient it’s actually mind numbing, learn to have faith in a company that basically got back on track with what halo was since the beginning, thank you 343i for a great game and take your time with content ignore the ones that arnt giving constructive feedback

That’s literally not a thing. Bungie said the same thing about Destiny 1 and that game only lasted 3 years.
This is pure nonsense. Beta or not, basic playlists should have been available immediately. The fact they are not, and the way they have challenges designed with the challenge swaps and requiring them to complete the battle pass screams that this is intentional and unlikely to change.
Keep white knighting though instead of pressuring them to change a bad system.

I’m gonna spend $60 on the campaign. They can count on that money from me, so therefore, I don’t want to feel corralled into spending money on the store instead of grinding for it. It doesn’t seem fair for me to pay them $60 but for them to ask for more

He’s right though. Challenge swaps don’t make sense if all challenges are equally easy to obtain / don’t get in the way of standard play. Their existance as an item that can be bought requires them to have some value, which only exists when some challenges contain barriers that stop people easily achieving them.
Gametype requirements are one of these barriers. The lack of vehicles is another. Obscure challenge requirements is a third.

This is so true. The big team battle playlist is fine and makes sense. But hard-core OG fans just want some dang slayer. I am so oddballed out I can barely stomach another oddball match.

Again, entirely unlikely unless they change the challenge system and get rid of challenge swaps. I will gladly be wrong if they do change things, but as it stands, this is definitely intentional design.

The only thing that’s giving me some hope is mint blitz said in last (well, a recent) video, “I know for a fact more playlists are coming on Dec 8th”.
Given he’s a ‘forerunner’ that’s a good sign.

Yeah, this highlights a communication issue from 343 though.
We should NOT be getting a passing mention from a Youtuber, they need to come out and tell the playerbase if we can expect some basic playlist and mode options on the 8th. Especially if Mint was wrong, he’s going to get raked for saying it if it’s not true.

Absolutely, I have ranted many a time on all of the forerunners videos saying that them being in the loop removes their unbias, complaints, feedback, speculations, recommendations (I can go on…) but guess what, their fans call me a xxxx and the creators ignore me or cry.

Even if they are not deliberately being uncritical (so as to not break NDA), the fomo from being left out in the future can subconsciously make them so.

They literally sell challenge swaps for 200 credits. If you could choose the game mode you want to play you would never need to buy a challenge swap. If you could choose the game mode you want to play it would also increase the speed you level through the battle pass.

Nothing is gonna change on the 8th besides them adding in the disabled playlists they made like the one with respawns and such
