So I bought Far Cry 3 sometime between Christmas and New Year’s eve, and played that for a bit messing with the map maker in it and thought I would come back to Halo 4 in January after this supposed coming 1-50 rank update…

Also, what in the world happened to the Halo triangle of guns, grenades, and melee?!?! Who decided throwing in all this random junk was a good idea?!?!
Why can’t we shoot, throw grenades, and melee while sprinting?!?!
This is HALO! HALO has never had a moment where you are unable to react, yet sprint jars players in and out of combat. If you’re sprinting, you CANNOT fight. And why don’t ALL players just have nav points over their heads in the game now? With the enhanced super powerful radar, promethean vision, and so on, we’re only one hair away from knowing where EVERYONE is ALL THE TIME. So why not just go ahead and tag everyone? It would look better in the game than the radar. Radar could just be removed then.
What happened to picking up grenades? Why do grenades, and also weapons while I’m talking about this, vanish into thin air?!?!?
Why is forge slightly WORSE than in Reach?!
Why do we have a secondary shotgun pistol that is more powerful than the actual shotguns in Halo 4???
Why was the jetpack brought back at all, since it is nerfed so badly you can only fly like 15 feet up with it?? Its totally pointless now. Removing it entirely would have probably been the best idea anyway.
Loadouts and armor abilities have GOT TO GO.
Why do armor abilities have infinite ammo?!!!
It makes no sense! If you send some hologram floating device out that projects a hologram, you wouldn’t have 3,000 more of those devices on you. We know it is a floating device from Halo 2 when we see the heretic leader use them, and because it is not some beam projection type thing from your suit because that couldn’t go around corners.
It also makes no sense with other armor abilities.
It makes no sense why some of them are FORCED to MAGICALLY have ANY RELATIONSHIP to the armor suits anyway, such as the regeneration field and auto-turret. These are CLEARLY NOT SUIT DEVICES. The spartan armor CLEARLY has NOTHING TO DO WITH AN AUTO-TURRET. An auto-turret is an object the spartan soldier carries, not a part of the suit like an overshield or active camouflage would be.
HALO 3 EQUIPMENT HAD IT RIGHT. IT WAS JUST THE PARTICULAR TYPES OF EQUIPMENT WERE BAD, NOT THE INTERFACE/WAY PLAYERS INTERACT WITH THE EQUIPMENT/ABILITIES.
Which brings up another point…
In Reach, armor abilities where designed into the engine in a VERY slack, crude way. It was basically equipment somehow attached to the player and made invisible, but during lag when players died their armor ability/ equipment often became visible beside their body. This happens still in Halo 4, meaning it is still actually just HALO 3 EQUIPMENT in the engine. Its extremely pathetic, slack programming/ design/ engineering to just copy and paste Halo 3 equipment coding into Reach and 4 if 343 was insistent on going forward with armor abilities. They should have been made a genuine part of the engine.
And WHAT is with Pulse Grenades? Why do they even exist? No one even knows what to do with them, what they do, or what they’re intended for.
AND WHY ISN’T A HALO…
