Anyone lose DLC yet?
Probably won’t happen until they update in another 2-3 hours.
I have the map pass, so i won’t be losing anything

…or so you hope. You know, cuz they’ve done an awesome job with all this post-launch stuff so far
… you may just very well be one of the above referenced in the ‘fair warning’ link

Don’t remind me lol
Well, the maps suck. I’m not going to be the slightest bit depressed over losing these poor excuses for multiplayer maps.
I think the preview thing is probably going to sway more people away from the maps than towards them. Almost everyone I have talked to about these maps judges them as fair to poor. No one counts the map pack as a “must have” on the level of Halo 3’s Legendary pack, for example.
A lot of people I know were pretty psyched about getting the maps for free, only because they wouldn’t pay $10 for maps such as these. In fact, I can’t think of a single person who got the maps free and said “I totally would have paid the money for this”. I can think of a few friends who will say “Well, that’s okay, the maps sucked anyways” when they discover the pack has been removed from their hard drive. But overall, no resounding “Must buy!” reaction from anyone in the community.
I think the problem stems from the multiplayer itself, to be honest. The maps are nothing special, but if the multiplayer was great, then new maps would be a win no matter what. I’m bored of how Halo 4 works, so why should I buy more spaces to play it the same way on?
Unfortunately, I bought the Map Pass myself, so…

Yeah I’m not all that impressed with Crimson. I played 'em when they came out, and then the day they did the KOTH challenge after removing the KOTH playlist, that’s about it. They were just kind of ‘meh’ imo.
Also I’ve had friends with limited HD capacity think twice about downloading the pack, so it’s especially disappointing that they aren’t that good.
Nope. I have Limited Edition. I will not be losing the Crimson Map Packs. And again, more hating on them. Nothing is wrong with the Crimson DLC. The “Halo” community needs to slap itself in the face…HARD!

At the very least, i can go into a normal playlist and be matched up with those with DLC. Even at the launch of the Noble Map pack this did not happen often and became a rarity to have the DLC maps pop out of the DLC focused hoppers.
I can literally count the number of times i’ve played DLC in Reach in normal playlists. Thats including after the implementation of new code by 343 to match DLC players.

Got LE and am bracing myself for another MS/343 screw up and getting my HDD erased… lol.
I hope they do pull the maps, they suck and will increase the population for the other maps so faster matchmaking.

I hope you’re right about not losing them. It’s a crapshoot with these companies.
And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the maps, but there’s nothing really special about them either.
