Well...I'm done now with Halo and Xbox...

After 5 months, the DMR has still not been nerfed, the autoaim/bullet magnetism is still not closer to Halo 3 levels, Join In progress still exists, and there is no ranking system (CSR is garbage and is not what ANBODY asked for at all)

Also, the next Xbox will require an online connection to play, will not allow used games, and the blu ray discs HAVE to be installed since Sony screwed -Yoink!- over with copyright laws. (these are confirmed by game developers,

I guess thats it. I stayed loyal to Xbox for a long time but I feel like I’ve been abused as a customer and that I’m not getting the value that I pay for.

Goodbye 343 and Microsoft, it was a good run from 2004-2009.

Goodbye! We hope you don’t speculate on the next forum you join! And it’s 2013!

Honestly, this thread offers no value to the community whatsoever.

RIP -Yoink-

Sorry you feel that way…

I for one will most definitely be getting the next Xbox and will continue to support Halo and 343. (They are honestly trying to please this community)

This.

I’m looking forward to Halo 5 on the 720

Where did you get all this information about the next Xbox?

It won’t affect me, I’m just asking.

Goodbye-ee!
You won’t be missed!

First of all, they just recently implemented a system for modifying damage tables on the fly, they didn’t want to screw up with an update, it’s all careful planning.

Two, JIP is a good system. I don’t like joining in at the end of a match, but filling up a few spots in the first few minutes of a match means it’s not a one sided guaranteed victory. This has been updated by the way.

As for CSR, I think it’s ok. It could’ve been better, but 343 noted the areas it falls out in and gave pretty good reasoning with it, even though I don’t agree with some of it. It’s not crap though, I like it.

As for the Xbox, that’s just a rumor. Sony bought the copyright to whatever this deal was, don’t know much about it, and Microsoft can’t use this system unless they pay a fee to Sony. Not to mention that this is a -Yoink- move anyways, and retailers like Gamestop who make a heavy profit off of this would lose business, and all the guys who don’t have live can’t play games anymore.

I don’t much like Halo 4 either, but honestly I’m sick and tired of all these “I’m done with Halo” threads. This is what, the thousandth goodbye thread already? We don’t need to hear your little sob stories and goodbye’s. If your gonna quit the game, just stop playing it and leave, silently. We’ve all seen enough of these little sob-stories and goodbyes. Most of us honestly couldn’t care less.

Halo is the last reason I had loyalty to Xbox and now that 343 has demonstrated that they want it to be like Call of Duty, I’m done.

The only reason I won’t let me live membership expire this fall is if Halo 2 is re-released with multiplayer and the SAME ranking system it had before.

Okay, have fun.
