Pretty much wasted 60 smokes on halo 5 and totally hate the multiplayer. Never had so little fun in a halo game. So I now will be labeled nostalgia fanboy forever and come back to what feels like home…even if it takes five minutes to get into a game.

But Halo 5 has REQs and 60fps, 100s of armours and skins, an over powered AR, underpowered vehicles, faster albeit superficial movements and animations and equal starts. If that ain’t Halo, then 343i don’t know what Halo is…
I bought Halo 5 for this weekend. The slow MM in MCC has stopped my friends playing it, and despite the fact they rarely boot up Halo 5 they have booted it up more than MCC recently so I’m going to jump in. I expect it to last me through Xmas when the population will peak then drop off for good.
It’s a crying shame after how much fun the old gameplay was on MCC when it worked.

I’m sure you will have fun with it. I occasionally have fun in the team arena when its objective based and do fairly well in free for all. I’m just apparently god awful or my older halo game skills just don’t translate. I can’t stand team slayer which was my bread and butter because i’m placed in platinum rank while I go 3-15 and bring a team down most matches. It doesn’t have enough casual fun for me in the ultra competitive ranked playlists to enjoy myself even when i do extremely poorly. This doesn’t bother me a ton but just to show you how try hard everyone is in these playlists, I did poorly the last two games and in the lobby I had one guy on my team of randoms berate me for being so bad. The next game I did poorly as well and my teammates started meleeing me every time I walked by. Warzone got boring for me after matches started equating to 6 scorpions rolling around with 3 ghosts and 2 banshees pinning you down with nowhere to go unless you’re winning…which then you are the team pinning down the other team. Not trying to complain because I’ve enjoyed every halo (even 4 to an extent), but I just can’t get my enjoyment out of this one. I didn’t like the campaign either so I have nothing keeping me.
